There's a lot more to how good a class is than class rank. For instance, recruiting services do not take into account needs at certain positions and if they were filled or not.

There a many many reasons why someone ends up in JUCO, but sometimes when the get there for academic reasons, it’s an indication of discipline or work ethic.

Yep. It's a little bit like buying a new car vs. a used one. You can get really good used cars, but you have to be good at knowing what you're looking at and then realize that sometimes you're buying someone else's problems.

With any program, JUCOs are going to be more of a crap shoot than your typical HS player. They are in a JUCO for a reason. Now, some will come out with a chip on their shoulder and prove they never should have been there. But, some won't accomplish that for many reasons from, physical talent, grades, want to, work ethic....etc.

I agree and didn't mean to imply we shouldn't take one. It's just that I don't think it's a much bigger priority simply because of the LBs we are losing.

The number of recruits in Frost's classes have been 22, 27 and 22 (not finished yet). At least the last two have started off, in this stage of the cycle, estimating that the number of recruits was lower than what we started with. So, the initial number might be 19, but I'm betting that it will end up somewhere around 22-25 by the time it's done. I would say that next year, we need 5 O line and I'll guarantee you we have more than one WR and DL in the class. As for the cover LBs, I really wouldn't necessarily look at what we are losing as seniors. We need to be looking at what's in the Freshman and Sophomore classes. Those are classes the 2021 class will be playing with mostly. I believe we have some good cover LBs in those classes.
