  1. You say the bolded...then spend the rest of your post explaining why they shouldn't have celebrated.
  2. Your edit was part of what gave me a "meh" about the quote. She could have said the same thing without the juvenile stuff. Maybe I'm just sensitive because I'm so sick and tired of that kind of stuff (admittedly worse) from Trump. Just answer the question. So, she "assumes it's a man" That would ask that (why?)....then the dumb comment at the end. Oh well....not a big deal. Just don't really get all giddy about it like some seem to be doing.
  3. The point you're missing is why they were celebrating the way they did. If this was Alex Henery kicking...I would agree. But it wasn't.....and their celebration has nothing to do with their (or the fan's ) expectation for the program.
  4. Yeah...I saw someone the other day down playing the importance of this game. I personally think this is a huge game because of everything I bolded. Beat an undefeated top 25 team on the road and gain momentum and confidence going into the bye week where kids can get a little healed up. This would be huge. I agree. I think it's going to be a tough game. I think we CAN win. We just need to play good sound football like they have shown they can do this season.....and not have stupid mistakes.
  5. I guess there is a limit to what Nike is willing to stand for.
  6. I’m not saying it can’t happen. I was asking why he thought it would happen.
  7. I think it depends on the health of 2AM. If he is out for the year, I would see them holding off playing LM. Reasoning is that they need NV to get as many snaps as possible for experience, and they would hope NV makes it through at least three games without getting hurt. If he would get hurt in the last three games, LM can finish the year without losing his redshirt. If 2AM appears just a little dinged and will be fine after sitting 3 weeks (off week next week) then they have more flexibility.
  8. So....it's a bad thing that Gates set up his foundation and is fighting Polio, and child deaths from poor sanitary conditions world wide with his money and other wealthy people.
  9. He might not actually know them. That's kind of the reason they laundered the money through a fake corporation. However, you did have lunch with them at the WH.
  10. No. They celebrated a walk on 3rd string kicker ( who really didn't even come here to kick) winning the game at the last second with a field goal. It was a great moment and has nothing to do with the mindset of where people (or players) think this program should be.
  11. I have one little issue with this statement. It is not the job of the US government to provide a living for it's people. It's the job of the US government to provide, protection, infrastructure and an orderly lawful environment where people have an opportunity to make a living.
