  1. I'm guessing this is a shocker to many Husker fans.
  2. I'm about an hour through watching it. Both of these guys have their warts but they are no where close to as bad as their running mates. Why oh WHY couldn't the primary voters vote in at least some type of reasonable candidates as nominees? In the long run, I don't think this is going to change the election much.
  3. Think he obsesses much? I love it. Seriously, if he's posting about it that much you gotta figure he thinks about it ALL the time, and probably bores all around him with it 24/7. It's the think his kids roll their eyes at when he starts talking. He's gonna be a nightmare as he ages and loses his memory. Are you sure this hasn't happened already? He seems to not remember everything he has said in the past.
  4. The irony of this tweet is just precious.
  5. I was watching baseball but you pretty much summed up what I'm gathering from all reports.
  6. If he is going to hire this team of geniuses to run the country, why can't he do that to run his campaign???? Heck he doesn't even listen to them.
  7. Hmmm....first decision???? Seems to me he had a couple cpaign managers before that that were pathetic decisions.
  8. Ummmm.....isn't this the same panel with two of his surrogates on?
  9. I'm concerned about it but I wouldn't say I'm overly worried about their scoring. They averaged 30.6 points per game basically against nobodies. It's not like they were putting up 50-60-70 points. Against a good defense against MSU, they only scored 24 and that took overtime. Yes, they can score and we may need to score in the 30s to beat them. I'm pretty confident we can do that. We've been there or above every game except NWU and that was mainly because of two weird plays at the goal line.
  10. Just by sheer numbers, I have to think we will land some of these recruits. Now, we have hosted 25 and I'm sure there will be more visiting before signing day. We only have something like 8-10 more spots. It would be nice if we were in the position to pick and choose which of these we take. But, instead, it's going to be really interesting to see which ones we won over because we are so awesome. I'm much more impressed with this than Atbone. Getting kids to campus from places like California has been a problem during the season for the last few staffs. Then, when you look at the quality of recruits they have been able to pull in for a visit....wow.
  11. Unfortunately, you are probably correct. I guess I'm left with writing myself in so someday I can tell my grandkids I received a vote for President of the United States of America. They will be in such awe of their Grandfather.
  12. But, I also remember people being positive towards him from the start. I was one of them.
  13. I was just listening to NPR where they're talking about Brexit and a vote in Hungary where someone's claiming a win w/less than 50% returns and I swear to god I thought, 'Trump will do that. He'll either claim he won and just move into the White House or make some other scene." So if he doesn't concede than what does he do - start a riot. He doesn't have military or congressional authority. The supreme ct will knock down any electoral challenge. He'll be all bluster and be shown to be the fool that he is. Yeah, he could. He's spared no effort trying to delegitimize the process as rigged or fraudulent now because he knows he's losing. You saw this when he dipped HUGE in the poll after the convention, and now the talk is bubbling back up since the first debate and his horrible week. He really could on election night, after a loss, just encourage his supporters to not accept it, rail agains the rigged system, and tell them to go out and "make their voices heard" or some similar stuff. The idea of a bunch of pissed off Trump supporters thinking they were cheated and going out looking for revenge is pretty horrifying. Yeah....I've thought about that. This could get ugly.
  14. I would like Dude's suggest in the Primaries and eliminate all together the Caucus process that alienates way more voters than any voter registration that has been suggested. In the General Election, I would actually prefer that if one candidate doesn't get 50+% then everyone else except the top two are eliminated and we have a run off.
  15. Oooo....this has to make the evangelical vote just flow out with pride to vote for him.
  16. Naaa....I'm OK. Thanks for the offer. If needed, I can always get up at 3:00am to try to find a station to watch it.
  17. Good topic. I would put it: OSU = Easy pick Wisconsin = They are going to be pretty beat by then but they still will be tough Maryland = Surprise team for me this year. They are going to be coming off of Mich and OSU so it will be interestin where their mind is going to be. Indiana = It's the next game and they look like they can score points. We have some injuries....so....let's just take care of business and move on. Minnesota = Decent team to not take for granted. Iowa = they suck and they will be totally demoralized by then. I see them with possibly 4-5 more losses before us. We may be their bowl game so it still may be a dog fight. Purdue = It's Purdue. We need to just take care of business this time.
  18. OK...You convinced me. Maryland over PSU.
  19. I just realized this morning when looking at the playoff schedule. IF the Cubs win the NL Championship Series and make it to the WS, I will miss the entire thing. I'm scheduled to be in Germany almost the entire NLCS. That sucks.
