  1. I find it interesting that nobody in this thread has made comment on the actual article that was posted.
  2. Take T-Mart completely out of it and go back to what ever QB you want to. I challenge you to come up with a better crop of receivers from top to bottom than what we have right now. These guys are tough, fast, strong, run good routes, fight for the ball, get yards after the catch, have attitude and swagger....and on top of that, we have some REALLY good blockers in that group. I'm loving watching them play.
  3. Of all the coach hires that Bo has done, Fisher was scrutinized more than any other. Fans claimed it was a horrible hire due to him running a golf academy before coming here. All that said, I believe he has done an absolute fantastic job with our WRs. One of my dreams for Nebraska was to have a really good WR corp with multiple targets that go up and fight to catch balls. We now have that. Good job coach Fisher. Great hire Bo.
  4. Bo has not lost this team and anyone who thinks he has obviously doesn't remember what that looked like under Callyclown and Cosgrove. This team is still fighting and playing hard. They make mistakes that costs them in games. But, they don't stop fighting.
  5. Well, Husker fans sat and complained that we played better on the road than at home. That problem is fixed. I must be a really odd Husker fan. I'm actually happy we won. I thought it was a great come back and it showed that this team has guts and doesn't quit.
  6. I think we win another close one. 35 - 31. Evans is going to shut down Robinson.
  7. I actually agree that these teams are pretty even. i'm not going to be surprised at any outcome.
  8. Anyone ice fish here? Two years ago my son and I tried getting into it and had some fun. Last year there wasn't enough ice. Hope its cold enough this year.
  9. Yep....I usually smoke chicken quite a bit hotter than anything else.
  10. Thanks for the recipe. Sounds like a good winter meal but I think I'll also try it in the smoker.
  11. It hasn't happened very often that someone coaches till 70-75 years old and still be able to keep winning. Like I said, Both Bowden and Paterno weren't able to do it and those are the winningest coaches in history. Can he do it? Sure. But, he odds are against him being able to keep the program at this level at that age.
  12. The older he gets, the more other coaches will use his age against him in recruiting. They will put questions in the recruits mind of if he will be there for the next 4 years. For many, that won't matter. For some it will.
  13. I don't have a problem with the distribution of the ball this year.
  14. Last year I took my 12 year old son out for the first time. Yep, he shot the first Buck he saw. But, I agree with the management of the herd. I'm a little different in that my main reason for hunting them is actually for the meat. If I get a trophy out of it then that's a bonus. So, I really don't have a problem shooting does.
  15. We already proved Romney is a pig misogynist, what else is there to do? I think that's about it. I just think it's funny how the political forum is the most divisive and yet unifying forum on this board. nothing will ever be more controversial than t-mart's throwing motion or bo's demeanor. Was it a good thing or bad thing that Frank Solich was fired?
  16. This is a perfect example of why the US is the greatest country in the world. Not many places in the world could two candidates for leader of a country get together a couple weeks before their election and have fun. I loved it and thought both were pretty funny. But, most of all, it actually made me proud to be American. Sorry for the (probable) over glamorization of the event. But, that was what was going through my head when listening to the highlights this morning.
  17. Wow...those donors are pretty pathetic.
  18. Pretty disingenuous when you criticize one for doing it while your side both did it. You did get one thing right. It is pretty much a non issue.
  19. I am absolutley stunned that a politician had a photo op at a charity. Absolutely dumb founded. Thank God Biden doesn't do that. I'm sure this was right when he got there in the morning and that's why he doesn't have any dry wall dust on his nice clean shirt. He sure us concentrating on that nail. Hope he didn't hit his thumb.
  20. So, he went looking for women to hire and that is a bad thing?
  21. So, let me get this straight. He looked at all the applicants and there weren't any women. So, he went to women's organizations and asked them for help and they provided aplicants. This is a bad thing? Wow.....the Dems are really stretching lately. In one week we have Romney admitting that he made an effort to hire women and also Ryan visited a soup kitchen. How dare they think they can be in the Whitehouse?
  22. Oh goody and I'm sure Obama's handlers didn't take up any space for the photo shop your candidate and his daughter went to.
  23. But if government cannot create jobs, then jobless claims and unemployment are irrelevant when gauging a president's tenure. Yet this is consistently something Republican Mouthpieces levy against him. I know this is hard for some people to understand. But, the government doesn't create jobs. BUT, they sure as hell can cause them to go away.
  24. I guess standing in line with a clean shirt is better. Or, I guess maybe he should stand in line in the cold.
