That is odd... the way some players responded on TWITter, I think Bo would want to have a last word with the team before his name is scraped from the HC office door. Partly, I wonder if Bo couldn't face them or something like that? However, knowing he cares for those kids, his absence at the final meeting is a backhand to the team, imho. I want to give the benefit of doubt, but I think true colors finally shined. I hope the team will realize what a slap that is and will use it as motivation to fully support the new man, whoever that may be. It was ironic to see this after players were tweeting that it was crap to get the news from SE via email. Id rather get an email that get stood up. Although we all know how Bo handles awkward situations..

Taylor martinez is consistently inconsistent. His timid 2nd half play wasn't getting us anywhere and spearheaded the deflation of our team. Im so sick of hearing about his stats. his passing stats don't show that he will run for a 3 yard gain on a 3rd and 7 giving us no chance at a 1st. great taylor. thanks taylor. either that or he will throw it to someone in the flats with someone in their face. What I learned from today's game? Well, after we narrowly avoided the worst upset of Pelini's career, my father pointed me towards a similar game. In 1994, the 'skers opened up against a very weak team, you guessed it, Wyoming. After a huge scare Nebraska pulled away late to win it 42 - 32. After the game, most fans figured it would be a long season once Nebraska would have to face any real competition but, as you probably all know, they ended up winning the national championship. Long story short. This is the first game of the season. This team will evolve incredibly and we how the next games will go. Let's try not to overreact too much...

I've been reading this board for quite a while and it seems like you guys tend to have a lot of good info so, I'm just getting curious/anxious. I was wondering if anyone had any new information on who seems like will be the next kid to pull the trigger? Who would you guys guess to be next? Are we going to have to wait until the end of August to see what Newell decides?

While I wouldn't go so far as to suggest someone in the admissions office has conflicting loyalties, it would not surprise me IN THE LEAST to find substantial levels of incompetence. A buddy of mine who is pretty connected to the program asserted today that the potential fault with Webster's eligibility stems not so much with the NCAA, but with Nebraska's admission office. He compared it quite openly to the Roburt Sallie fiasco, and flatly stated that if Webster is not eligible by the time school starts..."Heads will roll". Take it for what it's worth, since I have no idea, but in fairness, this buddy has been pretty spot on with most of his insights to me on Husker basketball. Heads will roll!? I love that song!
