  1. I just read some post game notes from Pap and Kaz, seems like they plan on using more 1 gap and pressure more. This might be what alot of people have been calling for. I would think it would help against alot of running teams in the B10. From owh: “You can't keep doing things that guys can't do,” Papuchis said. “Experimenting time is over. ... “We gotta figure out what the identity of this defense is gonna be. We may have to play a little bit different than we played in the past. We may have to be a more pressure team or a more gapped-out team.” “It simplifies the scheme,” Papuchis said. “But the question you've got to ask yourself is are you good enough to play that way? Down after down. Can you just play single-high, gap out and pressure? You have to be pretty talented to be able to live that way every play.”
  2. stunning that the coaches seem absolutely clueless...but hey everything is easily fixable right...right?!?!?!
  3. imo...relying too much on one player, it would help to gang tackle and swarm the ball. you dont see that in this defense period
  4. we played a terrible defense, however backup qbs looked good. one last thing FYFE for Heisman 2014!!!!!! :moreinteresting
  5. i am not sure you need to be a "football head" to see reacting instead of attacking from the d line, on most downs
  6. run ameer for 3-4 yds or cross for 5-8 yds win the game.
  7. i could care less what he said, obviously not the smartest thing he's done. however if the team stops allowing 600+yd meltdowns, and coaches dont blow games by not sticking with the run, we should have a chance to win any game with the talent we have. if it does continue then sure find someone who wont blow games like that one.
  8. or just someone who will not accept 600yd meltdowns, and stop running the ball when you are ripping off 3-8yds per play, not very difficult imo. hope bo can turn it around
  9. that is about as nice as jason peter has been to bo, that ive heard over the years. good listen imo thx
  10. o/u Martinez 300 yards total offense. Over O/U Randy Gregory 2 sacks
  11. who cares....just get the lazy ones to play as hard and fast as possible, call em out, beat em up, encourage them, whatever it takes
  12. yep...leadership. hopefully we can get some good ones who will get the rest of the players playing their best, if not beat em up in practice or threaten em. heheheheh if not being done already that is.
  13. Bo took over a mess of a program, which had a few decent players. He also brought some in. Those players are mostly gone. Its going to take a little time for him to really get this thing going, imo. He is still a fairly new coach, I hope he is trying to do the best he can. We have a chance at a great season this year, which would really help in future recruiting. I dont think anyone wants to lose 4 games, or any games really. However, I think Bo knows what he is doing, its just going to take some time.
  14. i wish today was april fools......ah cant get over how boring this looks on paper...each week there will be big games in the east while we are playing the badgers blech....and of course espn has to be the barer of bad news
  15. DISLIKE TREMENDOUSLY....reminds me of the pathetic Big 12 north boring
  16. run left, run right, up the middle....hardly trickery
  17. does anyone here get more upset about the bball losses over the football games? i do but i am also a much bigger football fan odd..
