Soooooo? You don't hire him because he will eventually move on to a different gig? Why not try and see if he feels like staying? Even if it is only for a few years that is still a plethora of high level talent on our rosterRight, it is fine by me, but if I am Riley I might weigh Orgeron's longevity. I have a feeling he values comittment from his staff. He was quoted as saying he likes to surround himself with people who are better than him in certain areas. It's not quite that easy. Yes, Ed O may be interested, but do we know if Riley has any type of relationship with him? Head coaches typically like to hire coaches they are familiar with and have relationships with. Hiring complete strangers is not something they usually do. Now, maybe Riley got to know Ed O while Ed O was at USC, but who really knows at this point. I just don't want people to be pissed if Ed O isn't hired. I always interview candidates and find the best possible fit. Regardless of if I know them or not. If Riley hires all of his buddies that isn't acceptable

As for Frost, apparently one of the radio stations in Lincoln has said that Scott is extremely disappointed and would not be part of this staff. Not sure if true. The last recruiter at NU that had the recruiting ability of Orgeron is John Blake.

Seems pretty serious about it. Mentioned him recruiting him at Southern Cal and how great he was. Have wanted Ed O on our staff forever. Guy is one of the best recruiters in the NCAA

Our fan base is know for being classy. You are very much lacking in that department right now. He's gone, you got what you wanted. Why make it a bigger deal of it than it already is? Just because he didn't release a final statement and give you that moment to revel in his failures doesn't mean you need too make a special thread about it. Try too be classy. Actually Hoke left with class. Muschamp left with class. Bo left without class....

Noticed that Hoke released a statement thanking michigan for the opportunity and said a lot of really nice things about the university as well as the kids. Does Bo not releasing a statement further validate the asshatery that is Bo? He himself said he came to win national titles etc etc and didn't reach his or our goals as a program. He has no one to blame but himself.
