Despite Wisconsin putting it on film all year, I can understand a Bo Pelini coached team not being prepared for it coming into the game. This is a Bo Pelini coached team, after all. But after the first couple times they had staggering success with it, you'd think our staff would realize that maybe they'd run it again? Maybe attempt to adjust to it at some point? Perhaps I should temper my expectations. This is what I find comical with our staff. An offensive play does well and the opponent continues to run it. We find a play or formation that works consistently when ran and don't use it again because the defense will expect it! The diamond formation always works and we rarely see it

I can think of many reasons....like coaches and talent...we have solid skill players terrible line play. UCLA will bring back plenty and could easily be a PAC12 Champion. Michigan will be improved and at their house. A lot can happen but looking at what we have and others have 12-0 isn't realistic. Hope I am wrong

I think there is some OL talent present from our recruiting classes. It's just that they are not being developed as they should be. After 5 years under Bo's tenure I see some progress, but too liitle too late. Garrison has helped some, but Barney is a boat anchor for us at this position. We will never be consistent or develop talent in the players as it should be in the trenches under his guidance. The biggest issue being the S&C our line doesn't look big and mean. They look fluffy.

After the most embarrassing loss in most of our recruits short lives, on national tv, to a 7-5 team with a 3rd string QB I am sure we are about to take a hit. Funny, now people point to Wisky's record and say they were a break or two away from being 10-2 or better, much better team than their record, hell we were a break or 2 away from being 6-6. After last night, obviously much worse than ours. I am still ticked about how out coached we were. It was as if this was the first game our staff had ever coached. We looked like some Div II school out there. Pathetic. Our coaches resumes are the answer. We were out coached because we don't have the experience needed to win championships

We need a coach that knows the importance of recruiting and is able to make smart business decisions with ACs. We have a coach that lacks both those qualities. Frank Solich 2.0

Callahan had to go but Bo was given a silver platter full of NFL talent. He needed to continue to recruit his backside off and we would not be where we are today. We have gradually lost talent year by year. Look at our class rankings...some will point to the avg star etc. problem is you will only get in a perfect world maybe 50% of your class to be worth a darn. You sign 18 kids you pray you get 9 solid players. Then the big boys sign 25-30 a year and get the deadweight to move on yearly. It is a game of numbers and we are losing severely.

How has Els been a great RC??? This fine top 10 class he has assembled?

What will the remaining Bo supporters say if we lose by 21+ to LSU? If Wisky can beat us to the edge imagine what a team with superior athletes can do to us....

Record against BCS teams last 5 years 34-19 win percentage of 64% Every 10 BCS teams Bo plays he basically wins 6/10...this includes the KUs and Minnesotas of the world

I'm not saying things are magically going to change. I just don't think now is the time for a coaching change. Bo has brought us to the CCG 3 out of the last 4 years now and yes I realize we lost all 3 of them but that in itself is an accomplishment. Next year is the year to get it done. We have almost all of our offense back and a ton of potential on defense. If we can't get it done next year then I believe it's time we start looking for someone else. What teams did we beat to get to those CCGs? The BigXII North and the weakest the B1G has been in recent memory....we are devoid of coaching talent and player talent. We don't stack up to the top 15 at all. How are we closer to relevant? We are getting blown out worse than Cosgrove the last two seasons....odd that the more of Bo's recruiting classes our team has the more we lose by. We have known Bo's flaws for the last 5 years. They have been screaming at us and they have caught up. Hiring friends and buddies and putting in lackluster recruiting gets you to this point. I can handle a close loss where our team looks like it played its heart out and was well prepared. Problem is we don't have the horses for Bo's scheme and he refused to adjust to the talent he has.

Decided to throw together some numbers for people to think about. When Frank was fired it was due to falling behind. We won games but when we faced good teams we got humiliated. It shows the Callahan debacle. Callahan actually took over a more talent depleted roster than Bo by a mile. Bo was left with loads of talent that needed to be coached correctly. Again he loses twice as many games as TO a year. You cannot compare the two. To never lost 70-31 and gave up 500 yds rushing either

We will have to get past Mich and Devin G first....not liking that match up. With as many balls bounced our way this year I worry that we won't get those breaks next year. I would also like for everyone to stop bringing up the 9+ win bologna. That standard was set when we played 11 games a year and a down year was 9-2. Bo wins as many games but loses twice as many. Not the same at all...Bo needs to clean house in regards to his staff. 1. Barney and Garrison gone. People may disagree with Garrison but he is responsible for this OL product just like Barney. 2. Els gone. Average RC. Very poor ST coord and subpar LB coach. Coached mid major for 20 yrs for a reason. 3. Papuchis gone. It is Bo's defense but how he can defend his DC is Callahanish. Most rushing yards given up, allowing 60+ pts twice this season. The UCLA debacle to boot. Can't defend him if he really is the DC and if he isn't he hasn't helped the defense do anything productive obviously. 4. S&C program house cleaning. Pay Wisconsins S&C coach stupid money to come here. They are built like Nebraska used to be. Our OL and DL look small and weak and lack push when against a decent front. 5. SE needs to sit down with Bo and explain to him that these blowout losses show regression not progression in the product. Embarrassing losses will hurt us in so many ways. All in all I was in total disbelief seeing us be so badly out coached. In all actuality what I saw I knew was there already. Bo can slide past below average to average teams but when facing a team with equal or slightly superior talent he is shown how inept he is as a coach and recruiter. You need to surround yourself with the best of the best. When you look at our coaching staff which program would want our coaches in equal positions on their staffs? I am talking top 15 kind of teams which is what we should be every season. We are not any closer to becoming elite than we were in year 1 or 2 of Bo. In all reality we have as mentioned before regressed. The losses are worse and last night it felt like Franks last year and that made me sick to my stomach

Bo didn't forget defense right? Didn't he tell us that?

Recruiting momentum is now lost. We will lose our bowl game because we did not reach our goal. We will struggle to find quality players to fill up our remaining slots. Staff needs overhauled period

Our team is focused and hungry. Our seniors know what it feels like to have championships in your grasp and have them pulled away. I don't think we lose this game. I am sure Wisky has the "revenge" factor but we have the unfinished business factor. We will punish them this game and make BB cry.

Let's see. Not have to play Ohio St every year, or have to play Alabama every year. Pretty tough. $1+ mil a year pay raise can make that loss sting much less
