I hope the new coach will explain to the players that its not an us vs the world(including the fans). Its US, husker nation vs the world. The divisive atmosphere Bo used pitting them against everyone, fans included, was so damaging to our program. Damon Benning talked about it alot.

My favorite thing is the people saying "We're spending this much money on a buyout when it could go to our academic program!"

Wouldn't be surprised to see players vote to NOT go to a bowl game. By their reaction to this and all season, they love Bo and will use this opportunity to say F-U Eichorst and Pearlman. This happens now and then, and I would expect it to happen in this situation

Lots of players/recruits lobbying for Kaz to be retained.

While I agree with the decision, I don't feel happy about it like when Callahan was fired. I liked Bo. Really wanted him to be the guy. I wish him the best. He did some good things here and we should remember that.

Let's fire Bo, lose a majority of a pretty good "base" of recruiting class, a few transfers, and bring in someone who it will take 4-5 years to "get his guys".... only to win 9 games (if lucky, cause no one else has won as much as Bo) and be criticized every week/year..... I bet the great coaches will be knocking down our door. Not a coach worth his salt would be interested...unless you are still living in the 80's-90's
