Frankly, though, this is the most enjoyable it's been as a Husker fan in a while. This weekend we literally cannot lose. We get blown out? Well this season is lost anyways and a new coach is coming. We win? Well shoot maybe we lucked into our next HC already.

I feel the same grim pessimism, but, one thing I note is that Trev left UNO a better overall athletics program than when he arrived. Yes, I know the football and wrestling thing was rough for the emotions, but, at least it shows decisiveness.

I'd be thrilled to have Campbell. Although it'd be bittersweet as much of my extended family are Cyclones fans and I have a soft spot for them.

After looking at it all, my thinking is we gotta root against the Carolina Panthers so they fire Rhule. That’s my guy, I think.

Respectfully I stand by the position Bo was a bad coach that coasted on the talent left by Callahan (who could recruit) and weak schedules. Better than Frost and Riley, but not a good coach. Every game that mattered he got the tar beat out of him.

It’s a good record when you look at the programs as from when he started to how they were when he left. He made winners. I don’t care he went 1-11 his first season at Baylor considering he went like 6-6 year two and then 11-1 year three. That’s good. That’s what’s supposed to happen.

Can you please stop posting a ton of dumb topics like this after each loss? I’d ask if you were like 10 but I can’t imagine any ten year old recalls Solich…or even Bo for that matter.

It was a far different era where it could all easily be hid as rumors. That's impossible now.

I don't think Meyer would have a problem winning. I just...I really don't want to deal with his s#!t. I fully get why others can look past it. I just don't want to deal with it, the wins wouldn't be as fun.

I desperately wanted Campbell back before Frost. I knew the guy was a winner. But that ship has sailed. There is no reason for him to come here. He already is cemented as Iowa State's greatest head coach. The only reason he would leave is to go to a team that could immediately contend for a national championship (OSU, Bama, Clemson, Georgia, not saying those places will have openings soon, just an example) or to the NFL.

People forget that beyond Tebow there were a lot of bad, bad dudes on his Florida teams.

I get that but I mean part of the joy in winning is to get to lord it over others, it's not the same feeling when everyone just gets to sit there and go "oh you just went and got him after everyone found out how big of a POS he was and you cared about nothing else."

I get why people say Urban Meyer but just...I dunno man every win would be tainted, the football world's opinion of him is the lowest it's ever been.

In retrospect, the man I'm most mad at is Bill Moos. Drunk fat jacka$$ gave Frost a needless extension. This would be over already.
