      Taylor Martinez has a chance this year to become one of only 2 quarterbacks to EVER have 3,000 career rushing yards and 9,000 passing yards. He's 42 short in rushing and 2,409 in passing (he had 2,871 last season)....that is resulting in the forever argument that will not be ending any time soon.

    Anyone else notice that once the results come out from the combine you get tons of posters who are all "faster" or "stronger" then the guys at the combine.

      ^^^^ doubt I could even do 300 bench these days (not many more reps than the LSU CB these days) or run anything below a 5.0 40 yard dash. When I exercise I just do cardio stuff and toning work...no muscle building for me anymore.

      I was very strong with decent speed in my playing days, but not the fastest guy around. If memory serves I was tested out at 4.67....so nothing special. My entire family is strong so no surprise there...330 pound bench and 550 squat. Nothing special though as all of my brothers had similar numbers. Just a strong family with decent speed. My brother's kids are looking to be more athletic than we were. We shall see how it turns out.

    Burkhead just ran a 4.69 40. That's about right in line with what I'd expect.

      Most of them are running in the 4.5 to 4.69 range. I'm not sure if that is a bad thing or if it doesn't really matter. There are DEs that run similar speeds.
