These officials were bad all night. Sparta was holding and making contact 10+ years down the field the whole game. The play was on my side of the field. He was forced out of bounds, but I am unsure of how much contact there was. I thought it would be overturned.

I have been going to these game for 20 yrs. For me, this was the wildest post game celebration I have ever seen. People were leaving after we got down by 12 and were coming back in after we won. Fans & players were dancing and no one was leaving. Collins was the first out, but he was high fiving fans when he left.

Our defensive issues are mainly due to lack of pass rush. We need some DEs!

I was at the game and I was watching the right side of the line. Him & Gates were man handling Sparta!

OL is big. I can not stay enough how Sterup played the guard position. Him & Gates were a wrecking ball!

Really, negativity on a great win!

Gates was back at tackle and Sterup moved to guard. Sterup was blowing Mich St. off the line. Great move, wish he had another year.

He was very critical on Bo being fired on twitter. This is not a surprise and there will be handful of Bo recruits that will probably leave by the end of the semester.

Finnin was a reach when he came here and Stevenson had attitude issues. We will see more leave. This is part of college football.

There is more to the story, as I heard attitude. I heard there was a contract, due to past issues and him not following it.

I'm guessing you would be talking about me. I've been a Nebraska fan for over 45 years... that's right 45 years. I've been through the good-great times and the bad-disaster times... so I didn't just show up "all of a sudden". And here you are... acting like an "old head". Yeah right. Not pointing my finger at anyone, just tired of all the negative posts by new members. Like you, I was around when everyone wanted TO fired. Discussion is one thing, constant complaining is another.

Who is the last prostyle QB to light the world on fire at any point, let alone as a freshman? Connor is pointed to as a prototype for Riley and Langs, but he's an average QB at the college level. That's what I don't get about those pinning hopes and dreams on POB, who could just as easily be another Harrison Beck or Hackenburg Jameis Winston? yeah, that's a solid example. wonder if he'd fit what Riley was looking for, though. also wonder if it's realistic to expect that from just about anyone else? That FSU team had a perfect storm going for them. I seem to recall them being utterly dominant on defense and ringing up some huge scores on lesser teams (e.g., 80 points on Idaho). Everything starts with strong QB play. Look at FSU this year and what they are struggling with. If we want to contend with the big boys we have to have a SOLID QB First you need a good offensive line. A terrible line makes even the greatest QB look really bad. Remember what happened to Peyton Manning against Nebraska? His line got whipped. I agree, but both offense & defense starts with line play. Offensively, we are horrible and defensively, we need some athletic DEs.

Riley was hired to change the environment and there will be those who will rebel. My only concern is playing these players. This coaching staff should be able to see this and put these players on the bench. We fired Bo, but he is still here!

Bo left his attitude with some players and he failed to recruit talent at several positions. If this is true, I hope to see a lot of youth playing next year!

On a lot of plays, you see Cotton & Lewis just standing around. Gerry does not act like he cares. If this is the case, then Riley needs to set these guys on the bench and put in the players that want to play. Due to injures and the lack of talent at key positions, I will give Riley another year. Yesterday we played with walk-ons at key positions - QB (maybe D II talent), 2 WRs & 2 DEs. I love the walk-on program and some deserve to play, but how many good programs have 6 walk-ons playing significant minutes!

Fyfe SUCKS

Exactly, Bo just could not recruit.

Fyfe is no Tommy WR running across the field wide open. He is just too slow reacting to plays

We need to recruit 10 lineman and cut some schollies

Fyfe made little effort to grab the ball and he should of jumped on it. There are errors all over the field, blocking, running, staying in gaps. Say what you want but are overall talent sucks
