  1. Ok. Who honestly would have thought the d-line would be turned around this rapidly from the "put Cam Merideth at DT" situation a few years back?
  2. I got no problem with it. Same here. Call a spade a spade Perfect example of Nebraska missing out on a guy because the parents would rather be catered to than be focused on whats best for their child.

  4. Blake Mcclain #2 all over again. Something tells me either his parents or another recruiter got into his ear about what he would be missing out on having suitors woo you before signing day comes 'round.
  5. With all the guards and tackles that the staff has been reeling in, does that leave jackson perry as the center target for this class? Jurkovic has the genes and the core strength from the looks of his tape to make some noise at the position that lacks the most depth.
  6. Heck, by that logic I wouldn't mind a Phil Robertson or Terry Bradshaw on our team. Welcome Hunter!
  7. With all of the rule changes occurring, will we see games that are altered by a tone-setting tackle or hit anymore? It's become a bit of a ticky-tacky situation for defensive players who have to avoid the head or neck area of offensive players and pull up at the last moment of impact. However, does this mean the days of a John Ruud hit against Oklahoma won't ever happen? Or just the chances of it have become slim to none?
  8. Really, REALLY hope we aren't on the outside looking in at Tavares. How he's rated so low with that highlight film is amazing.
  9. http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/qb-kevin-dillman-commits-nebraska When was the last time someone who either dropped rankings or was rated near the bottom of the class became one of the biggest steals? Or has it not ever been done before? Michigan fans in the link above are also cautiously optimistic about his potential.
  10. Stranger things have happened in college football...
  11. "Lets eat" is what you were looking for stringfellow? Good luck because its your loss not being a part of the best damn program in college football. Have fun playing with an SEC door mat.
  12. Just as the days with Osborne, every instance of breaking team rules becomes magnified because of the nature of Nebraska football in the state of Nebraska. Best of luck to these two because quite honestly there is a strong case both ways of dismissal or staying on the team for Boaz, given how the Banderas situation will likely play out.
  13. Tommy! Completions are way more awesome when you force them through triple coverage! Remember That!
  14. His mechanics are improving and from the looks of things Nebraska has a leg up on securing the commitment of both the starting quarterbacks at Guyer who will play in the fall.
  15. Whoa imagine in two years Nebraska could have two Canadians and a Swede on the team, this coming after having a Korean, Choi, on the team. Hows that for diverse nationalities?
  16. OWH So CJax is now playing what might be the most mentally demanding position on the defense but is excelling. Largely because he put in a lot of time in over the winter studying his position. Some times it just takes guys a little longer to figure out that they can't just show up and play. Really glad to hear this about CJax. Hope he keeps it up. Someone with knowledge in X's and O's....what is it about this position that is so important to the defense? Is it being able to defend run and pass equally? Its a tough position because you run around about as much as anyone else, and it requires being stout enough to hold ground in the run game. Any nickle corner in the big ten has to have the range to cover the slot while upholding their run game assignment thus making it one of the hardest and vital positions in pelini's D. Cjax and byerson both looked good there in the spring game.
  17. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2030819-the-unorthodox-journey-of-swedish-qb-recruit-kevin-dillman Great article about how Kevin ended up a Cornhusker commit after a long and winding journey from Ă–stersund Sweden.
  18. http://www.dentonrc....cornhuskers.ece Nor will the meltdown here if Dillman doesn't win the job...... High praise for a back up coming from the head coach.
  19. http://drchighschool...arterback.html/ Competition at the quarterback position at Guyer certainly won't be lacking this year.
  20. Kevin on his visit with Bo and Beck.
  21. His hudl highlights show a guy who can be stout against double teams and maul defenders on the interior. Quite impressive and perplexing why he isn't rated higher.
  22. http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/eye-on-college-football/24518148/missouri-wr-dorial-green-beckham-suspended-indefinitely 3rd strike for DGB apparently.
