It is, but a coach like Urban is playing with a different deck. He already would have a QB in Purdy. I'm in favor of a complete tear down, but there is no way Urban is not bringing players that would make a difference immediately.

Urban would likely attract top talent immediately, though.

We aren't this bad, but we still aren't good. They were smoked by Georgia Southern, their coach was fired, one of the ADs is on the radio telling people they suck, a literal circus comes to town, and here comes the #6 team in the country. Where in all of this are conditions conducive to even competing today, let alone winning?

Feelings about Urban aside, one of the greatest college football coaches of all time is unemployed by a school and in your town today. Is Trev as speaking to him at all? Just to say he did?

Oh, I totally agree with that. You just want it to truly come to light. If the head coach had sex with a cheerleader (as THE ASSISTANT AD IS SAYING!!!) that warrants legit investigation and journalism. The "you wouldn't be able to handle the truth" holier than thou mindset of the Husker media incubates behaviors like this into being.

Frost was clearly not the only member of the Boys Club that Stai is in. You can fire Frost, but as long as Stai, Davison, and this mindset is around, it doesn't matter. Ironically, it doesn't seem like Mickey is in the club

While this meathead is telling some Facebook streamers that the former Emperor of the Plains boned an undergrad 48 hours into his tenure and kicking dirt on the student athletes that HE serves. Burn it down. This clown has the self awareness of an old ketchup packet. No unity of message across the upper management of athletics. No integrity. Wanting to look cool on a podcast. Should be above this. Not the disclosure, but the asinine egocentrism that doesn't make him realize he's in front of a microphone and the format of the show. That's what I thought. I love this guy more and more with every tidbit. He seems like what Frost wanted to be. Will be be afforded the same solitude in Lincoln? Probably not, but worth a shot.

No worries. I think it's fair to discuss that he was performing what is the most visible and high profile job in the state while impaired. That is obvious to anyone watching. By what? Who knows, but the media seems to and that is there the disconnect seems to exist.

Everyone here cares about the Huskers. Scott Frost cares about the Huskers. It has been clear from before he even took the job that the weight of the situation was always on his mind. Add in the immense success at UCF, his personal losses, and whatever he has going on, and it has been a recipe for what happened. This idea that Scott is a careless snake oil salesman with no self awareness is wrong to him and to the brand that is Husker football. One wonders if they did Scott a favor by letting him go when they did so he could have the full buyout. Even if 25 percent of the rumors are true, they would seemingly have cause to terminate him.

He does not have a personality disorder. I don't know if you are a psychologist, but if you are, it is highly unethical to say something like that.

It just doesn't seem like rumors at this point, but fact. The media should report on facts.
