My grandma used to give me canned salmon, and I would eat it straight out of the can, bones and all. I still have a soft spot for it on occasion but realize in hindsight that is a really weird thing for a person to do.
FWIW I only eat canned tuna in tuna fish salad sandwiches. Canned salmon is decent in a homemade cracker dip, too. The kind I buy is usually all natural and just packaged in water, too. I won't eat other types of canned food.
