  1. Sorry, but things like this bother me. I'm not really sure why since I'm a Math teacher and not an English teacher ya sorry now, or in future for any typo's. I do all my huskerboard reading and writing at work on break, so im very pressed for time. But ill be first to admit English was not my favorite subject in school. Infact its the only class i really didnt like honestly.
  2. O that just made my Easter. Better than dieing eggs!!!!
  3. Thats a tough one. Id have to say i dont agree with it. But i will say this, When someone buys a husker shirt, hat, jacket, ect they are paying for the "Husker brand" in general not anybody specific. But when someone buys a #80 bell jersey, and has a fro wig on head they are obviously paying for it to support KB. It isnt really fair that Adidas or whoever rakes off him directly but i know giving players money for jerseys would just open up a GIANT can of worms so im saying no.
  4. suck up. suck up. Lol no not sucking up, just been reading post on here for to long without getting in action myself and i really like how active and insightful he and alot of others are on here!
  5. Wow that did really pump me up to have him. I have to admit i was skeptical of Molinari but after reading that im a little more excited. Sounds like he runs a team of "junkyard dogs" too!!!
  6. Wow that says alot about the PBA ahead of Duke, Kansas, Carolina!!!! may be just fan voting but awesome nevertheless consitering most people dont think we have a bball fanbase. I went to 3 home husker fb games last year 0 basketball. Ill have to spread em out a little better next year and make it to PBA
  7. Me to Grey Goose maybe Absolute or Ciroc. But they are the Cheapest of cheap when it comes to vodka, HAWKEYE... I believe its the same price as gas now $3.40 a Gallon!
  8. NP, and ya im for the record against any change too cfb other than the BSC. Im just saying if worse comes to worse and they start compensating the athletes financially, i think this would be a reasonable solution.
  9. I dont see how IOWA is even in top 100 let alone above Ohio State... Nebraska pitches tradition and academics, Ohio State pitches pro potential, and Iowa pitches Vodka. Guess whatever works
  10. wow tha Wow that is a good stat! i just hope he uses these last spots wisely so we can get some good talent in those last 8-9 spots and hopefully hold on to the 10 we already have
  11. Mormons can drink caffeine, and Coke and Pepsi are now ubiquitous throughout Utah. There was a revelation from God a couple years ago to clarify this. "Hot" drinks are still forbidden though. So no Starbucks at the BYU student union? How do they get through finals? What do the girls put on Instagram? Pictures of their ankles Pictures of their husband and his 4 other wifes
  12. First off Zoogies I love your insight, and your one of my favorite posters on here just wanted to let you know that... But i should have clarified more, I believe they should get this money on top of their full ride and meal plans. I dont know about doing it year round maybe just during the school year and or season. I think it would be as good of solution as we could have, just because it does give them some spending money that they cannot get due to their busy schedules and I believe NCAA regulations. But it sets the bar on what will be paid out and makes the amount consistant. But I do have to admit when you break down the numbers thats alot of money per player, at 20,800 per player, one football team alone would cost a fortune. Thats why maybe doing this during the season when they are most busy would be best. Its just an idea but I think it would be alot better of solution than turning CFB into the NFL.
  13. I really think this would be the fair solution because it would restrict teams to pay players depending on amount of revenue school brings in, and completely screw up recruiting and making it top heavy and benifiting the power schools.
  14. My solution/ compromise and i dont think its a bad one, is since the players cannot work because of there schedules and that does take from there ability to get money, is to pay the players of ALL NCAA college teams the states minimum wage for 40 hours a week. That would restrict the AMOUNT we pay play players it would all be set by laws of state. and the players will have plenty of money for all extra living cost they need. opinions?
  15. Ya its all concerning but if we stay healthy, and occationally mix in some dt's (collins) and some hybrid linebacker role(rose) we should be fine, while also mixing in reps and developing the underclassmen. I also dont think it would be a bad idea worse case senario if we have those depth issues we could maybe work in some 3-4 packages as we obviously dont have any concerns with our depth at LB.
  16. Nebraska is 38-5 all-time in night games at Memorial Stadium and has won its last 12 prime-time games in Lincoln. I thought we lost to USC at home in primetime maybe 4 years ago?
  17. Also at spring game i sat a row behind Fyfe's gf and talked to her a little. Im not sure of TA or JS girlfriends if they even have but FYFE is for sure 1st string when it comes to gf's. Id challenge anyone on team to have a better looking girl. I dont have a pic but she was a 10/10 if your into tan, thin, 6 foot tall blondes with husker gear on!!!
  18. Ya i could see TA or JS going in and trying to make too much happen to live up to their name. Fyfe on other hand i could see being a great game manager and just doing what he is asked to do. Not saying he is our most buyable starter, im just saying i could see him as a very good backup and would have faith that we could get job done with him under center.
  19. If you were at the spring game you would see the leadership qualities of many of our players. For example Kenny Bell the entire time pregame to end. Was very engaging with all team, fans, and even coaches. KB may not have been a 1st team all-american. But the leadership qualities he presents to the team and fan base are second to none. And this isnt even including Ameer who obviously has strong work ethic, and i know all the young guys will want to mimic what he does because they know he is headed strait to NFL after this year. I dont know if i could say the same about anyone on Defense at this point, but RG44 and Mitchell seem to have taken a strong part on that role. but we have a strong team with great leadership, and i dont see any dropoff coming during the summer months.
  20. I lived in Des Moines for 15 years. It's strange but I would rather watch a Husker game in a bar in Des Moines than in a bar in central Nebraska filled with nothing but Husker fans. ya i live in Iowa too and by no means would i rather watch a Husker game or any game at that in this state over Nebraska... Take it from me when i say watching a game at BWW with Hawkeye fans all around you with their twisted views on football is enough to drive any Sane fan crazy... I have acually had Iowa fans swarm around me and threaten me to leave bar before for being a Husker fan the first year we entered Big 10. For the record i stayed there until they all jumped me. I only got a little bump on head! if that were 3 Husker fans that jumped me id prob be in hospital. Says alot about fight in Hawk fans
  21. Dam id be a liar if i said i knew that. i always assumed there were more teams i guess. Thanks for info
  22. Dam Hilltoppers that would be something if they stole him lol
  23. husker from sweden you have been very informative following Dillman... Just wanted to say thanks for the inside information. You have been really vital to my following of Dillman last 3-4 months. Thanks again, real excited about this kid!
  24. With all the Huskers we will have at that camp, I hope they all do there best to recruit a few more kids. Is there a list of all the recruits that are attending that camp?
