Ohio State has not won a NC in 11 years and they're working on their 4th top 5 recruiting class in a row. Not sure why a NC is needed for B1G recruiting. Point? How many Bug Ten Championships have they won? How many have WE won? Now, shut up until Nebraska wins something. It's embarrassing.

You realize that the B1G has historically played games at 11, right? You also realize that every game is televised, right? ABC, ESPN, BTN. Every game. Bama is on because of their RECENT success. Wisconsin will stay strong, Iowa will have their ups, Minnesota has a lot of good things happening. Can we win a big game, that matters??? Thats what Nebraska needs. not meaningless non-con wins over McNeese State, or some lesser bowl...but an important game, that matters, against a quality opponent (at the time of the game, not a 1973 quality team)

Bret Bielema played at Iowa when Bo coached there. He is a midwestern guy who doesn't really fit in well in the SEC. I think he is the one.

Alvarez coached the Big Ten Champion Badgers in the Rose Bowl. Hardly the same as whatever craptastic game the Huskers are headed to. Sadly, it needs to be Beck for one more game.

Barry Alvarez doesn't need to concern himself with us. He built Wisconsin from nothing to a team that is always in the discussion for the Big Ten Title. He won 2 Rose Bowls, beat Auburn, led their team to a #4 ranking and went 8-3 in bowl games. SE was at Wisconsin for two more Big Ten Championships and six more bowl games. Maybe, just maybe, Nebraska is trying to get back to where Wisconsin IS and is trying to copy their program. But, you can put the foil hat away. Barry doesn't think about us anymore.

Tressel? Wow. Consider our program at its worst. That guy has cheated everywhere he has ever been. So much for doing it the right way. Take him off the list. I would pick the field from the rest. Ready for a change.

That's the problem. We can't see ourselves. What is your perception of Alabama fans? You probably think they are an arrogant mess. True, but their team is in the NC race every year. That's the difference. They are relevant, we are not. Yet, we act like it is 1994 every year, every game. It makes us look stupid. Maybe if we start behaving like we talk, like we expect, like we do things the right way, we can return our fan base to a proud tradition. But for now, everything is broken.

Why only half? I'm from Des Moines but live in Hawkeye country now and can say that Iowa is just as dissapointed at their season as we are. I haven't heard crap from an Iowa fan since they lost to Iowa State. With that said, Iowa is no Minnesota and we will eat them alive if we can stop the run on first and second down. Either way win or loss I think I'll end up dissapointed in "The final outcome" if you know what I'm getting at. After the Wisconsin game...what makes you think we can stop anyone from running on us?
