I think we could see Season 8 as "War on the Run." I'm not sure how they can just sit at Alexandria or any of the camps... They are all aware how many people Negan has, so staying put, would be a poor choice. Can't wait for Rick to kill Negan. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow... Part of me hopes they never kill Negan. Not wanting Negan to win the war, and push Rick and his group away, but figuring a way for Rick to win and maybe incorporating Negan to be in their group somehow. Maybe he can be in Morgan's prison for a while with Dwight. I loved the season finale, love how the trash heapsters flipped on Rick. I'm curious as to where Gregory was in all of this when Maggie was leading the Hilltop to the war. And season 8 has the potential to be the best season yet. So much action with a war, so many deaths, then the walkers entering the fray somehow to, I can't wait for October now.

Great, the ACA needs tweaking, so now the Pubs, after a setback, are just taking their ball and going home. Not even bothering to try and reach across the aisle and have a bi-partisan attempt to fix it. So now when the ACA does continue to go bad, they will blame everyone else for not voting on this, even though this was a worse plan. Awesome strategy.

I feel like that's being awfully generous. I'm sorry but I thought that episode was trash. Easily the worst of the season. Why should I give 2 sh#ts about Tara or Heath all of sudden? They aren't even good characters and now they're trying to give them a story line? We don't need 100 different story lines and new one every other episode I liked it. It's setting up the upcoming war. Rick's group can't take out the Saviors. Now we are finding all these other factions that will team up to take them out. The Kingdom, the Hilltop, Oceanside. These 4 groups, the resources they collectively have will create a massive war against Negan and the Saviors. Sounds like they hinted at one more (PPP) with Heath being saved (kidnapped?) by them. First half of the season building up the factions that will join forces, second half them starting to come together with a season finale war with all them attempting to destroy the Saviors.

I haven't read the entire thread, but I used to date a 5th grade teacher working for a metro area school. She would tell me on average, she'd have 4-5 kids a year in her class of around 20 that read at a 1st or 2nd grade level. And because the process was so difficult to actually hold the kid back to work on his education, the kids would be moved up the next grade. So, I can see his point where his elementary school teachers failed him. However, it sounds like it's more a systematic issue where teachers feel it's too difficult to hold kids back to repeat a grade, and instead just push the kid to the next grade level.

Except for the part where ... you know ... it's not helping against fakes either. We even suck at punt safe.
