    I would guess Eichorst/Riley & co think that.But, I doubt it's on the magnitude of Bo. "Us against the world". Riley won't poison the well. He's too nice.

    He had all the opportunity to do so when hired.Instead, he hired his best friend. He did this at Oregon State. He refused to fire Banker. Now Riley is at DONU. Banker has come along for the ride. If he wouldn't fire him at OSU, He won't fire him now.

    I don't hate the guy. Guy is a good person. Good intentions. Sometimes it just doesn't work out. Was taught; "Life is messy. Even when you mean well." Riley tried his best; there's no doubt. Things are a mess. Some of it out of his control. I respect his effort. His push to help NU. Ultimately, he should retire. It's time.

    As a Husker fan, there's always pride after a loss.Home of the greatest team to ever play. Fans that bleed scarlet. We know who we are. We know where we've been. Don't be embarrassed to wear that "N". A Husker's worst day is better than most.

    I had no expectations. I saw losses. I didn't see a blowout loss to Purdue. A 1-6 team. Didn't think Riley & co would reveal their hand so soon. Nothing about this gives me hope. This can't be defended. 2 and 7 off suited.

    Coach Kill is a great coach. He deserves a lot of respect. Doing what he has for Minnesota can't be easy. It's depressing that we won't get to see where he would have taken them.
