  1. No matter how big a lead you think you have on your lawn - weeds ALWAYS come back and beat you late in the 4th Quarter.

Don't be defeated!  Pull them out before they seed and repeat every year.  Keep the grass thick, healthy and eventually you'll have very few weeds.  it's helpful if your neighbors do the same.  It's a lot of work to get your lawn to that point but is easier to maintain and looks great.

I sprayed down Prodiamine 65 WDG in the spring and have very little weeds in my yard. Last year I had quite of bit of crabgrass in the backyard and some here and there in the front yard. No crabgrass in my yard at all this year. Little small weeds here and there though but that’s because I only sprayed for a 4 month treatment but VERY satisfied with Prodiamine. Got some clubby fescue that I have to dig out by hand but that’s the only way to get rid of it.

I find myself caring less and less about my lawn the later in the season it gets.  I'm all Gung-ho starting in spring.  It still looks much, much better than the lawns on either side of me though so I've got that going for me, which is nice.
