I agree with everything in this post. Tommy looked like the same Tommy we've seen the past 2 years. On Saturday, ZD looked like a guy who can be good QB.

I don't understand how BTN does not have a primetime game every week. I assume it has to do with ESPN TV windows? I hope in the next round of TV negotiation (this/next year?), BTN pushes for a weekly primetime game. Makes no sense to have 2 or 3 regional games at 11:00 or 2:30, but then nothing at all on at night.

Did Whitaker play at all over the weekend or is he still injured? With 2 major surgeries in 3 years, I wonder if he is a medical candidate?

Darlington's performance looks more impressive to me when you remember that he hasn't played in game conditions since August 2013 (20 months).

Word on the street was he was gone if Pellini wasn't fired, but he stuck around to give it a go under Riley. Going into today, he was probably 5th on the chart. He gone.

I want him to come just to further piss off the "Riley hired too many Oregon St. coaches" crowd.

I went many times when I was between say 8-15. When I was at UNL I never went because (I think) the weather was crappy or I would always have some big school (test/project/paper) thing the week after. Now I live a 6.5 hour drive away. I think that my son would love it, but its just not feasible.

I think it is a safe assumption that at least 1 of the QBs will transfer after they see where they stand post-spring game.

Do we know if QBs will be taking contact? Or will they be off-limits?
