    Crazy. Mens 1000m long track speedskating- difference between 1st and 9th is only .82 seconds. 1:08.39 to 1:09.21. Not much room for error IMO.

      Shani finiahed 7th and was nearly inconsolable. Said he just didn't have it today. What could "it" be that would account for only about half a second in a 1:08 something race?
