I'd be perfectly happy in the +/-10 degree range. Our traditional wood smoker varies much more than that and it produces wonderful bbq. Of course the more consistent the better but....
I looked into the RecTecs a bit. Those are nice for sure. Guess I better go out and actually lay hands on some of the different units to help me decide. I'm in no hurry so that's good.
