    Difference is Michigan will be in the College Football Playoff talk next year. Nebraska might get into that discussion in 2-3 years.

    Who do you guys use as your most reliable recruiting site of rankings? I tend to always use Rivals. Not sure why? based off Rivals I see us finishing anywhere from 19-24. I will be happy with a top 20 class. In fact, a top 20 class after everything Nebraska has gone through this past season would be enough to get me excited.

    Compared to the other schools who are after Desmond Fitzpatrick, we really should land him.

    Pernell Jefferson looks like an absolute beast. Appears to be a good pickup and some other big name schools were also trying to get him. Nice recruit!

    Maybe its because I haven't seen Nebraska football in about a month. But, I suddenly have great hopes for Riley and Co. in the upcoming years. Maybe I have forgotten this past season already, but I think big things are coming our way.

    Everyone is saying the dominoes are going to fall because of Butler's commit.....What dominoes are we talking about? Is this kid going to bring in some major players with him? I haven't been paying much attention.

    The funny thing is, when he fired Bo, I didn't think we were in a rebuilding process. I thought that was what Iowa was stuck in.

    Well, I'll be honest. I would not be satisfied with a 3rd place finish in the B1G West.

    Not that bad, especially when you look at who else is 50/1. I think our odds are better than UCLA's as well. This is exciting news. There is a chance for something amazing! GO BIG RED!!!!!!!!

    Looks like Zac is an NFL guy and Frost is a college guy. I'll take Frost in 2 years compared to taking Zac in 2 years.

    Jared Mayden decommitted from Oregon. He has Nebraska listed, could we at least TRY to just get this guy. Just show some sort of effort to go after some of these highly ranked recruits?

    I think the Eagles just fired one that some people would be interested in hiring There is no way Chip Kelly would ever come to Nebraska. He is also wanting to stay in the NFL. Although many would like to see Riley leave, now would be the absolute worse time for that to happen.

    We'll be after him, and maybe we can sell playing time better than anyone in this country..? But I doubt he comes here. Would be an absolute enormous get.

    Is this article from 2005? When Riley was relevant? If he left now, although some may welcome it, it would set this program back even longer because there are no coaches out there to hire now. We literally would be doomed.

    what worries me is how fast Michigan is getting better, how dominant Ohio State is, and how much more work Nebraska needs to do just to compete with those guys.
