It's nationalist, not religious. Gotta give these bright individuals tools to expand and get the respect they deserve.

Ive heard of a troll. But a Creighton troll? Yeesh, talk about a walking joke.

  2. Just had to stop in and say it: No matter how "good" Nebrasketball gets, Creighton will always be better. Love 'skers football but you bball fans need to learn your place.

Creighton will always be better... unless they aren't. Then they will not be better. One mid major to another. Play in the B1G and you wouldnt be a top ten team.

  3. If he doesnt want to be here then we dont want him anyways. I'm sure he was presented with a clear understanding of the opportunity in front of him. If that is overwhealming to him or scary then he's not a fit. We would only want a guy who would embrace the opportunity to drive this offense. If the Keys to Callahan's WCO isnt enough to lure a gutsy QB then I dont know what is.
  4. I see now. I didnt mess it up. Apparently, one of the mods changed my post.
  5. There was a link to HI that mentioned his commited to Auburn in his profile. It has already changed. I would say its bogus at this point. In fact, I think they made an error with another DT that recently commited to the Tigers... BIG MISTAKE!
  6. Whats this deal about people saying he just commited to Auburn?
  7. "Former South Carolina assistant Dave Roberts already has emerged in speculation about Downing’s replacement. Roberts was out of coaching this season after spending six years with the Gamecocks under Lou Holtz. “If (Downing) leaves, I hope Coach Callahan calls, because I’d be up there in one second,” Roberts said last week from his home in Columbia, S.C. “I’ll keep my fingers crossed. I’d love to help.” " http://www.journalstar.com/articles/2005/1...56135430504.txt Tom Lemming seems to think he's one of the nations 5 best recruiters and actually recommended Callahan to hire him. "Dave Roberts, the recruiting coordinator for retiring Lou Holtz at South Carolina. Lemming considers him "one of the five best recruiters in the nation" http://www.footballscoop.com/archives/2005-01.htm "Midwest recruiting analyst Tom Lemming criticized Davie for not trying to retain former Irish offensive coordinator Dave Roberts, who became coach at Baylor. Roberts is viewed as one of the nation's top recruiters; without him, Lemming says, Notre Dame's past two recruiting classes would have been comparable to those of Purdue or Minnesota. Lemming also says many top recruits canceled visits to South Bend after Roberts departed." http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m120...221/ai_19084165 "A final word from Tom. He predicted that Bill Callahan will be the new head coach at Nebraska. He is looking to grab off some of the top assistant recruiting coaches in the country. He asked Lemming for names and was given a group of the top recruiters, including Dave Roberts who had been fired by Bob Davie and is currently working for Lou Holtz." http://irishtoday.com/newsboard/newsarchiv...ewsarchive.html Apparently the USA Today agrees as well. "With Coach Lou Holtz and recruiting ace Dave Roberts at the helm, anything is possible for the Gamecocks and this is certainly their finest recruiting class ever. " http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/foo...2-21-maxcol.htm "Coach Lou Holtz has been recognized for years to be one of the best recruiters in the business. Recruiting coordinator, Dave Roberts, has been given the same tag. So how could the Gamecocks lose with this dynamic duo? The answer is that they can't." http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/sf...iting/max18.htm It sounds like this guy is "N" if we want him. Lets see, former head coach, offensive coordinator and recruiting extraordinaire... That would work for me! -GBR!
  8. I gotcha man....that makes 4 in state guys, that should quiet the natives for a little while. The knee surgery scares me a bit. He had problems his junior year, which did not allow him to play. I think it's almost a given he'll play safety, how many more shots can he take below the waist, at least at DB he'll be delivering them. It IS always a concern when a guy starts out with knee surgery. But the last MN kid to start out his Husker career with redshirt kneee surgery won the Heisman trophy. FWIW... -GBR!

  10. I'm glad I found this site! I just wish someone wouldve told me about this before (Nameless). Here's my first carrot. Rivals announces their Freshman All American team. We got 2 (hint: both were only 3 stars) and 1 got robbed. Free link. http://nebraska.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=484758 -GBR!
