  1. It's not hard. Just depends on how willing a person is to work on their mechanics. I don't want to hear about natural throwing motion. Every baby I've ever seen wouldn't start at QB because their motion sucks. HH unfortunately was probably ruined by old Harry Potter just like the rest of the QBs in the Frost Era. He just needs to work on keeping his elbow up. Exaggerate it until it's in between where it is now and the exaggerated spot. He also needs to work on moving his feet to find a throwing lane so his passes aren't batted down
  2. I believe people were saying the same thing last year and this year we actually have a former Husker starting for Michigan
  3. What's the rule for pumping extra crowd noise through the PA?
  4. Apparently my former coach will be at the game this weekend. There is a letter winner club reunion. He'll most likely be their with my mom.
  5. Ability to move your feet and the length of your arms
  6. Could have been 5x better but the editing of the football action was trash compared to what was shot.
  7. damn. didn't they say earlier this week that Cam was going to play?
  8. Due to my mom's sacrifice that earned me playing time, let me hone enough football skill that after college I was able to parlay that into earning a spot in the movie "The Express". https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0469903/
  9. just watched some highlights of the Bowling Green game. Didn't realize it was just like the Rutgers game. They were playing ok and hanging in there at 14-6 in the 3rd quarter when deep in their own territory they threw an INT on a rb screen and Mich took it to the goal line. As long as Satt doesn't call that play in our own territory in the 3rd quarter I think we will be ok. Also bowling green was getting pressure on the Qb so I wouldn't see why Nebraska's D line can't. Especially with Leinhardt back this week. I'm pretty positive the D will keep BC under 100yrds. Maybe not total rushing because I still think JJ will break off a couple chunk plays and they will probably hit us with a reverse or jet sweep that will end up as a big play.
  10. I only got playing time in HS because my coach was sleeping with my mom. I only got playing time in college because everyone behind me was trash.
  11. I really don't think they are going to keep this a scoreless game. Probably end up being 17-10.
  12. I felt like Rutgers could have run their QB for more success. He had a couple nice runs in the first half and they didn't seem to go back to it. Even tho they haven't showed it I would have to think Nebraska has better athletes on O than Rutgers. Their D didn't look near as good as Nebraska's and they were coming up with some stops. Penalties really killed Rutgers from getting any type of momentum. It was 17-7 until Mich scored on defense due to a poorly executed screen pass. Then the wheels fell off for Rutgers. I think this game is going to be a lot closer than people are thinking.
  13. gonna have to keep an eye on the QB run game this week. Have a feeling Mich will call some plays to get their QB to the edge. I have a feeling the D will shut down the rb's but the QB is going to gash them.
  14. There's time. Didn't realize Culvers was started in 1984.
  15. Remember that play where HH tried to dump it off to the RB and the LA tech LB lit him up??? That was Emmet
  16. They could throw him a bubble screen to see what he can do or maybe get him open on a short route and let him run. Not a fan of bringing him in for a reverse as everyone and their mother knows it coming. I get he's fast but throwing deep balls is not the strength of either QB. He's been open they have just thrown him s#!tty balls.
  17. I think a former Nebraska Cornhusker head coach had those measurements.
  18. If he knew how to hold onto the ball he probably takes that kickoff to the house
  19. You forgot the one where he was rolling out and he threw it to the turf about 10 yards in front of Kemp.
  20. You are missing what I'm saying. Is Sims somehow a better Qb if the DBs dropped those INTs?? No. But posters here are ignoring the fact that HH has made the same s#!tty throws but his were dropped. Thrown right to them but dropped. If anything we should be saying Sims throws a more catchable ball no matter who it's to.
  21. No. He did the same thing last week. He threw a ball right to a LB from NIL and the kid dropped it. Two of his completions to Fidone probably get picked as well. And a lot of his throws have been nowhere near anyone. He missed Kemp being wide open and decided to try to get his backup Rb killed by dumping it off to him. That probably could have been intercepted as well. They both have made mistakes but one has benefited from not playing against the same skill level. People are acting like HH is playing lights out and he's not. I think both of them have some work to do
  22. No s#!t. Especially when you throw to DBs who can't catch. If HH makes those same mistakes against a power 5 team (ie MN and CU) they are INTs. Then what do we do? Start clamoring for Purdy to start?
  23. Pretty sure Sims was in for one play and it wasn't a turnover. Remember when HH threw to Kemp with double coverage and the DB with no hands or real skill failed to catch the ball? Why does everyone overlook all the bad stuff for HH?
  24. How do you know he goofed up? Its happened with HH as well. But you don't know the call and if the RB is at fault.
  25. They were also missing Leinhart for the whole game and Reimer for most of it. Those are two high energy athletic guys. Their replacements not so much. I thought the DBs came up big in run support.
