Columbus, OH is nothing special. I guess if you really want to spread your wings you could go to the mistake by the lake Cleveland. You think top recruits go to Ohio St. because Columbus is so cool? Lincoln has nothing to do with why top recruits aren't choosing Nebraska. These kids spend 90% of their time on campus in the sports complex.

I thought I read somewhere that Tom never had better than the 6th best recruiting class during the 90's run.

I've argued for years. Just do what the other divisions do. Win your conference and you are in the playoffs. I don't care if there is some team who lost to whoever and "deserves" to be in. You know the rules. Win you conference and you are in. Take out all the debate. It doesnt matter if you think your conference is tough because if thats the case you are losing to a team you have already beena beat by. 5 power 5 teams get in and then the "best of the g5". That way you have the Cinderella appeal

I saw him use his speed and it worked at times, but he ran too high and he wasn't tough. If I cared enough I would go back and count the times he came off the field after a run holding something and acting hurt only to return a play later or two

considering Mo Washington barely made it a year why are people romanticizing him being there 4 yrs. I might be in the minority but I think he had almost as much work to do on the field as he did off. Might as well focus on what we have

I liked what I saw from the guys in the spring game. I also think with improved line play which I believe we will see, will lead to improved RB production. Have to limit rb's having to make their first move 3yrds in the backfield

I just hate how every rule is in place to make offenses succeed. I don't like how they protect the QB so much. They are on the field just like every other player, they aren't special. Now defenses can't read ques like O-line coming down field in pass vs run scenarios because they can get like 10 yard downfield before its a penalty on a pass. All this because the people who don't know anything about football just want to see points.
