  1. Betts looks pretty fast and quick in his movements, Martin just looks like one of those solid possession rec, Manning "looks" like a stud. If they all stay healthy losing Wandale might be addition by subtraction. There won't be one guy they are force feeding the ball too. I hope to god we hit the TE on the seam this year. Always seems to me they do in the first game and then the rest of the season they are running up field waving their hands in the air and the ball goes underneath somewhere.
  2. To me Penn St was not playing good football when we played them. Rutgers did well for Rutgers but I didn't think they were very good.
  3. The two they mentioned, Penn St and Rutgers. Those are were not good teams.
  4. I'm glad Payne could show flashes against two of the worst teams they played.
  5. Westfield isn't too far from where Randy Gregory and Colling Miller are from. Maybe that will help that they did pretty well at Nebraska.
  6. The one thing I caught in one of the clips is that they still tend to end up with receivers being very close to each other at the end of their routes. It's been happening for the last couple of years. It doesn't make sense to me as it leads to turnovers and one defender can literally guard two men. I'll assume its on the players making the wrong reads on the fly.
  7. why don't they use those barcodes all the restaurants are using so you can look up their menu online. People can just take a pic and it will lead you to their bio.
  8. Ok shovel pass and I though I remembered other time they tried something similar. Maybe I just counted that for 2 bad calls
  9. I just think when they did use him they were not calling the correct plays. If I remember correctly they used him on at least 2 jet sweeps. He doesn't really have the speed for that and if you are just hoping to catch the other team off guard that's wishful thinking. Just let him run routes and use the speed he does have. If Stoll, Allen, and Vokalek can get open I'm sure he can.
  10. Has anyone from Utah in the last 20 years played at Nebraska?
  11. Wish I had the boner for Washington most everyone else seems to have. He made a couple nice plays and if they play didn't go as planned he seemed to take himself out with some sort of injury. Plus he was a head case and probably not good for the rest of the team. I don't even car about the off field stuff. He had a ways to go to be special
  12. He doesn't seem to use his off arm at all. Maybe that was part of the drill but seems odd
  13. everyone knows big arms are the cure for knee injuries
  14. this was my assessment when I watched his film when he first committed. I thought he was way too slow off the ball especially for college. He didn't use much technique because he was so much bigger and stronger. People say he has a good motor and that great that he doesn't quit but when your motor is moving much slower than the guy with the ball it doesn't do much good. I see him coming in on goal line and very short yardage stuff. He's just a space eater
  15. Barry should have don his Alma mater a favor and retired 4 yrs ago. Would have helped Frost out.
  16. I vaguely remember Epley commenting on how many guys on Riley's roster were sub 500. Would be interesting to see how many are above that now
  17. A mississippi state insider with a confidence of 8 just gave Nebraska a crystal ball pick
  18. I"m sick of rec who can't get seperation or yac
  19. he was 4th in line... so obviously the best back in the room
  20. Is the Indoor practice facility not a building? I'm sure they find ways around this rule.
  21. How on God's green earth does Bill Moos almost getting out of playing Oklahoma turn into a conversation about Bo freakin Pelini? He was sooo two coaches ago.
  22. Randle-el was pretty good. His teams were s#!t
