After my drive to work this morning I can see why they canceled school. 72nd was an ice sheet.

The wind yesterday added into the problems where you could clear a road, then an hour later it was covered again.

Plus the sun this time of year is powerful enough to melt snow when it’s 15, but then the roads get wet, the sun goes down, and you are left with ice.

Yeah, my commute took me 50 minutes in Lincoln which usually takes 11.. Looks like we should have followed Omaha's lead on this one. I'm sure only having one more snow day in the bank before make up time is needed contributed to school being a go here.
