  1. I can't see Frost being happy with how that room has been handled. Austin should be first on the chopping block. I don't think he's a terrible coach, but Frost really doesn't have time to sit around and figure out how to build a B1G caliber OL.
  2. That was 2 classes ago. Nouili from CSU and Miller from Iowa were both walk-ons. They should have gone after guys with experience they could lean on while trying to bring along young guys. A hedge against your young starters needing more time to figure it out, so its not week 6 and your trying the "spray and pray" method at every position minus Center...
  3. Starters on the Depth Chart: Benhart - Year 3 Sichterman - Year 5 Cam - Year 4 Hixson - Year 5 OR Piper - Year 3 Corcoran - Year 2 Honestly I wish they would have hit the transfer market on the OL. Depth at T and Starters at G. Sucks we're in a position where Teddy will need to contribute as a True Freshman. 3 young/new starters on the OL is risky, and if it doesn't work out - your entire offense is up creek without a paddle.
  4. Gapped up at open, and remained stagnant since. After-hours traders made the money on this one.
  5. Was just about to post this. Would like to see him stay in Lincoln. Would hate to lose him and Cole Payton in back to back classes. Two Nebraska boys who seem like straight ballers and great leaders.
  6. We're on the same page for the most part. NY got rid of Indian Point and replaced it with fossil fuels, that s#!t drives me crazy. Use Renewables/Nuclear to phase out fossil fuels. Then renewables to phase out nuclear. Then you have things like bitcoin which is now consuming more energy than entire countries, makes me wonder if we will ever be able to phase out fossil fuels...
  7. And oh yeah, in the US we are closing nuclear power plants (CLEAN ENERGY)....so f#&%ing dumb. Hopefully sanity prevails.
  8. Right! I'm in expect the worst, hope for the best mode at this point. The 'Nebraska will win big' expectation is a recipe for a nuclear meltdown if we should lose.
  9. I wouldn't put it past Nebraska Football to fix special teams, but have another facet completely s#!t the bed.
  10. I'd think 4-8 earns Frost a trip to the unemployment line no matter how special teams look.
  11. An upvote and I said a prayer that comp won't come to fruition, that 2nd part is for both of us.
  12. If Frost doesn't make a bowl this year, I have a fun coaching comp. I know people like to throw out Alvarez and Ferentz as guys who took a while to get going. How about this one *in game form* - I was a WR coach at a national power, promoted to Asst. Head Coach. We went to multiple National Title games while I was an asst coach, my head man, many would consider a coaching legend. I was hired away to be the head coach at a meddling group of 5 School. First year was slow, I only managed to be right under .500. Year 2 we exploded! We won 11 games and earned a top 25 ranking. I was a hot head coaching name for P5 schools, and decided to take the job at a struggling B1G program which hadn't smelled the top 20 in a decade. I spent 3 bowl-less seasons at this B1G program and was fired halfway through year 4. WHO AM I!!!
  13. This is where I am at too. Beat Minny, NW, Purdue. Knock off one of the teams he's never beat (Iowa, Wisc, OSU, Mich), then I say keep him. If guys like Lovie Smith, Jeff Brohm, Randy Edsall, DJ Durkin, PJ Fleck, Danny Hope (not to mention Mike Locksley and Mel Tucker both well on their way) can get to 6 wins in their first 4 years at bottom dwelling B1G schools....I'd say that's a fair bar to set for Frost and if he doesn't clear it - bye!
  14. I want to reiterate my position, because I know it was @Archy1221 original point. I think if you can prove anti-bodies from a COVID infection, you should be exempt from the vaccine. I had COVID and got the vax anyways, because my doc told me to, but it should be an option to skip it IF you have antibodies. It would need to be a proven test, because people would abuse it. For example my uncle claims he got COVID, in small town Nebraska, in December of 2019.
  15. I mean the article doesn't say he's an anti-vaxxer. It just implies there is some in the league. Looks like they gave a bunch of examples of players not getting the vax and getting the vax from many different angles. There is certainly anti-vaxxers in the NBA, including this nutcase that Issac gave a shout out to in his quote... Irving, who serves as a vice president on the executive committee of the players’ union, recently started following and liking Instagram posts from a conspiracy theorist who claims that “secret societies” are implanting vaccines in a plot to connect Black people to a master computer for “a plan of Satan.”
  16. I hit a 6 team parlay week one and was gonna come to this thread to brag....luckily I didn't because that heater was short lived.
  17. The best part is is they pay you housing too, so we could just buy an RV and both collect a housing stipend on top of an insane hourly rate.
  18. Last fall I worked in Covid units for my regular pay. Luckily I had covid before they plopped me in there. IDK any healthcare workers that got a pay increase. The insane travel nurse pay has been going on for some time, COVID capacity issues just made it 1000x worse. My wife and I are both in positions where we could travel and make 3x our current rates, probably gonna be our retirement plan once our kids are old enough.
  19. Don't even need to go to NYC. Travel nurses are making bank everywhere. I know some making upwards of 80/hour in Omaha.
  20. Frost is 0-10 against top 25 teams with an average margin of defeat of 17.9 Riley was 2-6 against top 25 teams with an average margin of defeat of 18.0
  21. My guess is it's an announcement for an announcement. Guessing they announce they'll be wearing that symbol on a patch for a TO appreciation game later this season. Something like that.
