This game was a perfect overview of our season. A couple big offensive plays, but zero consistant offensive production. Turnovers galore and getting beat on the line. A defense that bends but doesn't break; yet isn't Suh like smothering either. How we didn't lose by 3 plus touchdowns still surprises me-i mean look at how many yards they put up, their starting field position and our 5 turnovers. How was this not a blowout?

My point for the D being pissed about the O's not scoring points, is that during the normal ebb and flow of a typical game, the D would not being playing with their backs up against a wall. This game, our O gave the Sooners great field possessions at least four times. I think that was a little wearing on the D to get jerked off of the sidelines back into play. Plus all the 3 and outs, I think our D did a great job.

I don't think OU was fooled when tmart lined up WR. We consinstantly used up most of the play clock(unlike them), so there was plenty of time for their D to adjust to Rex being in the wildcat. We need to get out there and run the dam play instead of being so indecisive. and I still think 450 yards given up on D does not represent the way they played. Hell, we turned it over in the first possession of the 2nd half, on what, our own 30 and they couldn't convert that to points. That's pretty dang good

Still shaking my head at the whole tmart-deer in the headlights playing, and now I have some more questions? 1. Does he practice? He looked like game one- not sure where to find the receivers or which way to run. Then if he would have scampered out of the pocket he would have made 4-5 yards going to his right, but he always doubled back. His indecisveness is what just killed the O 2. If he's hurt, why is he playing wideout? At what the hell is so "tricky" about him lining up at receiver. Is it just because he's a big target? 3. Sorry Zoogies, I agree completed with your take, save for blaming the D. Landry is awesome and OU gots some great receivers. Although I didn't realize we gabe 450 yards. The were just awesome on 3rd down and in the redzone. I am not sure why we didn't get a little more creative on the blitzing but I thought they played very well. How frustrating is it to a on our defensive and know that your O is never going to give you a lead?

Someone who watched the game on tv please answer- What is Tmart looking at downfield when he is just standing in the pocket? I guess he is looking for receivers, so were they all covered? Or was he just confused? He didn't really look like he was running the zone read, more like he was trying to stand in the pocket and pass. Then when that doesn't work, he runs right a little bit then turns back left a little and the starts to turn bsack right, at which point he is tackled by a committee.

I have to admit, I thought the same thing. I guess the thing with the picks is that supposedly most teams stayed away from him, save okstate and he got burned. Tonight, Oklahoma wasn't scared and they got some in on him.

Just thinking about this...WHEN we win tonite, Beebe will hire a courier to ride up on his bike and throw the trophy at BO and then ride off again

I took a picture last night on my phone of the one Sooner I found at Humperdinks. The picture turned out poor, but the dude had an 18inch chuckwagon glued onto the top of his his hat. It looked heavy BTW- if your headed down today, Humperdinks, and the Sidetracks band, is back at. Today there is a $10 cover for the band in the beergarden. Waiting line again, but the line is part of the fun. There is also a $10 shuttle to and from the game. You have to prepurchase the ticket and they are going fast
