  1. Even if Devin doesn't come to the ... why would it be a shock to you? I would understand if he choose these schools based on the opportunity sold him. I'm still solid in the view that we have as good or better a chance then most.
  2. 20lbs? he could start right now if hes good enough. good size for a CB already. 178 lbs in the B1G seemed a bit light to me. You could be correct. If he's good enough to start now then he should be a 5 star and we should have pursued this guy a long time ago.
  3. Those that don't like the JP promotion don't/can't really offer anything in terms of what could/would happen if he didn't get promoted. Is he someone to keep around on the staff? That question was answered. I would have loved a big defensive name coach ... but, that would have brought in some transition this year and beyond as I would perceive we would lose JP someone in the near future. No opinion on the Iowa coach.
  4. Agreed, Jordan is my "Sexy Rexy" of a few years back. I think Jordan is the recruit that sets the tone for us at WR for years to come.
  5. No need for me to debate any stats. This was great info. Thanks for posting.
  6. I wish you would step back from that ledge my friend. You could cut ties from all the lies that you've been livin' in. And, if you don't want to see me again I would understand. Hope this helped.
  7. Now we know the truth! Lately if you don't have a Y-town (Cardinal Mooney) connection you won't get hired onto this staff. If a man from Youngstown wants to coach he just needs to put his shingle out and either Stoops or Pelini's will hire them. Nepotism at it's finest. What a failure, We went from bad, to worse yet again. Tell me we didn't bring the D-Line coach from one of the few teams we were able to move the ball on. Wow Bo must really be POed he was overlooked in 03, he's doing everything he can to turn us into the Youngstown Fighting Irish Ya, I'm sure that's what he is doing. Since his plan is to make us worse I suppose that was your last post. I'm done with this team as well. :-)
  8. Hope we land him. We better make damn sure we get the ball to him early and often ... cause we won't be getting any top WR commits if we don't. Don't make this guy just a blocker ... that will truly piss me off. :-)
  9. But the sun only shines on that dogs ass because the master ... ... steps out of the way to let the sun hit it. :-)
  10. Which is why a team like Iowa or Iowa State steps up and upsets you every so often ... in my opinion.
  11. Would need to add 20 pounds of muscle and keep his speed, probably increase it. Probably top 3 ugliest uniforms I've ever seen. :-).
  12. I'll stand up for Iowa here. They deserve respect, both in recruiting, coaching and play on the field.
  13. His athletic ability and body frame would keep any warm blooded interested Agreed, however one has to meet the minimum academic standards to get on the field ... thus the point I was making.
  14. The coaches must be seeing something in this kid to put up with the academic issues. I wouldn't chase this fish with what I've heard ... so this one still leaves me curious until more is revealed.
  15. With an emphasis on "how they recruit" ... with an emphasis on "the tweaking of recruiting rules".
  16. Why go out on a limb like that? Just curious.
  17. Personally, I'm surprised to see "this" as a penalty. There seems to be a number of avenues the SEC teams do to cheat that are far worse ... and they get away with it ... and ESPN turns a blind eye ... and the NCAA doesn't seem that concerned about it. It's one of the reasons I dont consider the SEC as the best conference ... I take into account all the cheating.
  18. I don't get the claim to the "best of all time" for LSU. Didn't Bama miss like 2-3 field goals in the game. To me, it's a "win" but takes away from the claim.
