  1. I know I'm probably in the minority, but I thought Stepp was our best RB
  2. This team couldn't beat Little Sisters of the Poor 56-0, let alone a Big Ten opponent.
  3. LSU isn't interested. They have Walker Howard currently committed.
  4. My mistake - he COMMITTED to Purdue. The other top local QB - Eli Holstein - is committed to A&M.
  5. Makes me irate that we didn’t pursue this kid. One of the most electrifying QBs I’ve ever seen at this level, and I’ve seen many. He just took down the #1-ranked team in Louisiana (Catholic High) 35-28. But instead, we gave an offer to another QB in the same district who’s not nearly as good. Collins signed with Purdue - in a few years he’ll be giving us fits. How he flew under Verduzco’s radar I’ll never know.
  6. Purdue 27 - Nebraska 23 Rush: 151 Pass: 223
  7. Bring back the retro Herbie logo and get rid of that dumb plain "N" logo we have now (shown here) I do like the N on the helmet. I agree that Lil Red sucks... he's always reminded me of a young Eminem with a backwards hat. Lawrence Phillips was the best RB we've ever had.
  8. Honestly at this point I don't care if he's retained or not. I don't think one more year will make a difference one way or the other. If he finishes with 3 or 4 wins, he should be let go in my opinion..... or if there's a coach Trev really wants who he thinks won't still be available next year (like Chadwell, whose offensive system I believe would be a great fit here.)

  10. If I'm not mistaken, didn't he say a while back that Frost wasn't playing for his job this season?
  11. I just don't know what type of coordinators are going to want to come to a school where the HC's seat is white-hot
  12. LSU will be pursuing Riley. Again, he's a coach who can pick and choose where he wants to go. No way would he come to a lesser job at Nebraska, knowing of all the disadvantages here.
  13. With our O-line it doesn't matter who you put back there -- we could have Barry Sanders, Jim Brown, and Walter Payton in the rotation, and every one of them would average under 4 ypc.
  14. From the posts, it seems like some people think that the only reason our ranking is so low is because it's a small class.
