  1. Just found the population testing info from the Big 10's website. It's based on rolling 7 day averages so a recent outbreak would threaten this week less than say the week after. Things are only cancelled in a red/red scenario, but orange/orange and orange/red can lead to it as well. The Big Ten Conference will use data provided by each Chief Infection Officer (CInO) to make decisions about the continuation of practice and competition, as determined by Test Positivity Rate and Population Positivity Rate, based on a seven-day rolling average: Test positivity rate (number of positive tests divided by total number of tests administered): Green 0-2% Orange 2-5% Red >5% Population positivity rate (number of positive individuals divided by total population at risk): Green 0-3.5% Orange 3.5-7.5% Red >7.5% Decisions to alter or halt practice and competition will be based on the following scenarios: Green/Green and Green/Orange: Team continues with normal practice and competition. Orange/Orange and Orange/Red: Team must proceed with caution and enhance COVID-19 prevention (alter practice and meeting schedule, consider viability of continuing with scheduled competition). Red/Red: Team must stop regular practice and competition for a minimum of seven days and reassess metrics until improved.
  2. There is rules around the number of players available at a position. Like you have to have so many OL available, etc. I can't remember if QB had one and what the requirement was.
  3. Man that is brutal for the kid. I hope he gets through things quickly and returns as soon as he can. Talk about the ultimate high and low in a few days for him. Next question is how many total positives and do we have a game still.
  4. He kind of does, but that's more because they forced the RB back inside. He does a nice job shedding the double team to help on the tackle though.
  5. I took really good angles. However I was slow and I knew I was slow. So, I knew if I took the most ridiculous angle ever I could get there haha
  6. Let's make him a really big strong safety and just let him fly up and smash people, haha.
  7. @drfish thank you for providing the context that all makes a lot of sense to me and I was critical at first. Reading your points helps me understand the 21 days. Nice to hear from an actual doctor treating this and giving context!
  8. He needed to make a jump in the off season from "plays really hard" to "plays really hard and is a game changer" I don't think he made that jump so unfortunately I think you're right he'll get passed over.
  9. A redshirt freshmen OL in his first start ever on the road against tOSU and he plays like that is super exciting. Plus Jurgens is young, Piper did some good things and we have some talent developing, our OL could become a major strength really soon!
  10. This is definitely the "man I can't believe he threw that so hard" look and not the "wow I can't believe I let that go through my hands" look.
  11. I believe the reasoning was 14 days for quarantine/cardiac testing and then 7 days to get back up to speed/game ready as they can't practice for 14.
  12. If he'd have thrown it softer and it was picked off he'd be getting criticized for not fitting it in there. He worked his progression, Warner flashed opened in a window and he put it in to him. He probably put too much on it, but that's a catch a power 5 starter has to make. I've never heard a top receiver say the QB threw it too hard.
  13. The first half is definitely worth watching there was some good. Second half the wheels came off a bit but not as bad as in the past. I don't think Martinez came up short. I don't get the hate on him. You can see him work his progression and no one is there for him. He ran well and his biggest mistake was a fumble while scrambling that was returned. Here's the thing though you have to compare Luke as the main QB and remove his gadget plays to really compare them. The last two drives of the game with LM at QB and AM off the field this is what they did. 6 plays, 45 yards, LM fumble. 3 plays, -3 yards, punt
  14. I get that NU may have been trying not to get beat deep, but then you have to do something underneath. Their WRs were catching the balls for first down with 5 yard cushions. Ya you didn't give up a 60 yard TD but you can't stop a team when your handing them first downs either. We barely contested a throw all day.
  15. I've wondered that same thing. He should not lose another half of football for that hit. It's garbage. CTB wasn't a great call either but he did hit him in the head and it was pretty dumb.
  16. I learned that tOSU has beat B1G opponents by double digits 13 straight times. That's nuts, they are crazy talented. I wish this team had gotten three non con games this year. I think being more tuned up before B1G play would have been great.
  17. I thought he had a catch but he isn't in the stats do maybe it was called back.
  18. Yup I agree. We even gave Martinez time and you could see him work his progression with just nowhere to go.
  19. Our misses at WR are hurting us. Houston and Nance didn't even travel. Starting too many walk ons. We need Manning bad and just have to throw the frosh to the wolves and let them learn on the fly. We need someone to get open and catch footballs.
  20. Alright bud enjoy watching a different team for the next 10 years.
  21. If you watched that first half after the last 3 years and you don't think Nebraska is getting better you need to just stop watching for sure.
  22. Can't do that against teams like OSU or even Wisconsin.
  23. As the last drive with McCaffrey showed he had nowhere to go like Martinez. I see why they were tied they're both good. Our QBs were not the problem on offense. Bad WRs and mistakes were.
  24. They were good against the run and had some moments on the pass. OLB has to get pressure though. And honestly I just don't know if Chins scheme generates pressure at this point.
