Oh, from a personal opinion standpoint I totally agree. But last year at this time I was 1000% certain that if the team went 3-9 and HCSF was 15-29 through his four years there was no way in hell he would get a 5th season. But I was 1000% wrong. So now I treat the question of what happens if we have a mediocre season or worse the same way I treat my season predictions. Look at the schedule, look at the team, come up with an anticipated result, then subtract 3 or 4 from the win column to come up with my final guess.

In a way I agree. It's not like he has to get 8 or 9 wins to stay around. If he manages 6-6 I think it is automatic he'll be back. It will show improvement and enough to keep a large proportion of the fan base happy. Maybe even 5-7 with a signature win against a top 10 opponent will be enough. And looking at the schedule I think there is at least a chance he'll get to the elusive 6 win plateau this year.

From a strictly personal standpoint it wouldn't bother me a bit if they added CU, KSU, KU & ISU and made them our core games so we could play them every year. I know it makes now sense in this only thing that matters is money world we live in but I grew up with the Big 8 and having those derivable games every year against old foes would be fun.

And if things don't work out for Frost this year I can think of a coach who was recently honored as Coach of the Year in the USFL plus has close ties with both the PAC 12 and DONU. Just sayin'.

No. The NFL has rules and regulations in place to prevent the free-for-all/clusterf^ck that is currently college athletics. I know a lot of people hate the NFL but as it stands now it is under much better management than the college game.

So you think that NU is the only school to have a player suspended? It seems like the off the field stuff has been pretty few and far between for the most part under Frost. There were years under some previous staffs that it seemed like there was a new incident in the news every week or two.

Scott Frost has coached at 2 colleges. He now has a winning record of 48.6%. Before last season it was 53.4%. Just some more useless info.

Yes. Those darn unreasonable fans with unrealistic expectations who wanted, maybe, at least one .500 season in HCSF's 4 year tenure. They should have been happy with the 3 wins they got but they always are wanting more, more, more. /s

At this point in his career I'd hesitate to call him a "very good" receiver. Outside of one game last year he has been a minor contributor. 2019: 3 catches for 33 yards 2020: 4 catches for 56 yards and 1 TD 2021: 18 catches for 277 yards and 2 TDs (5 for 100 and 2 TDs were in one game against Kansas). In 3 years he's made 25 catches for 366 yards & 3 TD's.

Based on what we've seen the last four years there is at least one loss lurking in those games.
