We as in Huskers fans are in no position to rag on Badger fans. They did leave us behind the woodshed last year and seen More BCS action then us. Sucks but true. And Fowler you did have some valid points though.

We have a few leagues here and alot of tourneys that are pretty competitive when it comes to slowpitch. I am new to it but I cant say it has been boring yet.

I don't think that you're off base there. Last year, Kenny Bell was definitely in the game a majority of the time. Maybe not as much as a star WR should, as you referenced. But from what I've seen, as of right now, "that guy" at WR hasn't completely stuck out yet. I hope the next couple of years will be the J. Turner and K. Bell show out there. Two explosive, speedy guys that make defenses think twice about stacking the box. From there, it all depends on how effective Taylor can be throwing the ball consistently. I agree with you on this. I am just saying Our Bell / Turner wont get the chance. They do not and will not see the field enough times to become that guy.

Doesnt really matter how good Turner, K Bell or any other WR becomes. They will never get a chance to be consistent in play making because we will rotate about 6 Diff recievers every game and if one does well he will dissappear. Most offenses that have star Wr's only take them off the field when they need a breather. They get to stay in the game and RUN or BEAT the guy covering him up all game to set up that big play. I know you will all say i dont know what i am talkin about..

Maybe Lance Jeter should have played al whole lot better and won some games and put the program on the map. Then maybe Doc would still have a Job.

My god people will complain about any thing. Did Kennys socks lose the game no..Did he look different then any other player on the field. YES his socks were different. Did his Helmet have the big red N on the side, Did his jersey and pants not match the rest of the team. Yes it did cause he is part of the HUSKER nation. I promise you that his teamates didnt look at him and say this dude thinks he is better then the rest of his Husker teams due to some socks. In fact I bet you that half the team probably praised him for having them on. Line up every player on that team on the sideline and I promise you some thing is different from their cleats to the top of their helmet. Whether it be shoe laces, socks, wristbands, undershirts, eye paint, mouth pieces and the sheilds on the facemask and helmet style. Noone is complaining about the amount of wristbands and arm sleaves and accesseries that Abdulla wears.. They are not in the military they are out playing the game they love and doing it for us that couldnt make it as far as they have. Thats what gives our Huskers their look.

Sweet. I hope we do well this year. I just ordered the White mesh Adidas cap. I plan on making the trip to corpus Feb 25th to see them play the 2 games that Saturday. Taking my to boys to watch them. We made the Huntville tourney last year and Erstad gave both my boys a baseball. They eNjoyed the games we watched alot.

I dont know about yall but I am ready for some Husker Baseball. On another note where is a good site to find the hats they wear on field wit the Adidas logo on the side?
