  1. Yet the naysayers are claiming the buy out amounts tell them he wants to leave after 3-4 years. Why do people not trust a persons word any longer. I trust what Fred and his wife are saying! I guess it's important for people to act like know-it-all's!
  2. I think this visit has already happened based on the article. https://www.omaha.com/huskers/football/recruiting/nebraska-set-to-host-defensive-tackle-jahkeem-green-a-potential/article_2102f7cb-8e08-51b0-8826-861afab92fb6.html But haven't heard a word on how the visit went and if we/he are interested going forward!
  3. He's got plenty of speed. Heck they were using him like Refrigerator Perry running the ball out of the back field in short yardage and goal line offense. In film I saw was double teamed and was able to get to the QB quite often. Also saw him in pursuit run down a RB on the sideline 10 yards down field!
  4. Just doing his due diligence before making his public commitment to the Huskers. I look for a commitment either during Spring Game weekend or shortly after.
  5. Oh I think they already know what your saying. He's coming this weekend to meet the DL coach Tony Tuioti in person. They both know all about Duval and Ellis already. They may actually be coming to see those two also, just to get their take on things. Nash is all NU and I have no doubts about that and having dad close is important so I just don;t see him going any place further than a 5 hour drive from home!
  6. There are so many Nebraska Fans right in my own neighborhood that we have watching parties. When the Husker play here in Minnesota, they sell the stadium out and we have a sea of red in the maroon and gold. My neighbors son is a senior in high school this year and he and his best friend have chosen to go to school in Lincoln at the University of Nebraska. We blood red here. Doesn't hurt that his dad was premed at NU, did his residency in Omaha at the University of Nebraska Med Center and was a boyhood friend of Charlie McBride's son!
  7. It's great seeing how nervous they are and then trying make their season ticket holders do it for them. They'd more likely buy more weed than more tickets!
  8. I read that Moos said Hoilberg should have his staff completed by early this next week. He's looking for a coach that can head up the defense and that coach are coming here to coach now and not with the idea they are here to step up to the next level. He said with our facilities the coach will be able to recruit anyone here to play!
  9. https://twitter.com/JDWheelerJr/status/1114220689249177605/photo/1 They are pushing their General Admission tickets to their Season Ticket holders in an attempt to keep the sea of red out of Folsom Stadium.
  10. https://twitter.com/JDWheelerJr/status/1114220689249177605/photo/1Looks like Colorado is afraid the Husker Faithfully will be taking over their stadium and making it a western Nebraska HOME GAME, just like the games in Minnesota and Northwestern!
  11. Is it just me or does this guy remind you of a certain B.A. kid from Oregon named....SUH?! Watch his film! Not sure of the competition obviously, but he looks like Suh when playing defense! https://www.hudl.com/profile/9530128/Jamar-Sekona
  12. I look for our offensive line play to take a big jump in year two under Greg Austin. By the end of the season last year you could see a lot of improvement. Having year two in the weight room and year 2 under Austin will be paying off!
  13. Mike Adams-Woods is reopening his recruitment. Said he is still interested and like what Fred Hoilberg had to say. https://journalstar.com/sports/huskers/mens-basketball/report-husker-hoops-commit-adams-woods-reopens-recruitment/article_43659021-bd16-5042-a896-645764722173.html
  14. I don't think that would have been a good idea. If Scott didn't want to come back (thank god he did) why have someone here that didn't want to be here? Playing chicken (ie:Black Mail) usually doesn't turn out too well!
  15. Guys he is not going to wrestle in college. It would be good for any big man like him to stay in contact with the sport though, just from the fact their fight in the trenches is very similar to that on the wrestling mat with the hands and leverage.
  16. Nebraska hosted Junior College Transfer DT Jahkeem Green, a potential addition for 2019 roster last weekend. Anyone hear how the visit went? www.omaha.com/huskers/football/recruiting/nebraska-set-to-host-defensive-tackle-jahkeem-green-a-potential/article_2102f7cb-8e08-51b0-8826-861afab92fb6.html
  17. And for that reason, I think we will see that he is N the week after the spring game. It seems like he has visited so many times, that there is just no way he doesn't commit to N!
  18. The O is breaking in new guys on the OL, at WR and in the back field. Lots of new faces all over the place.
  19. With the Witfong now saying he will be N, this could happen sooner rather than later!
  20. Anyone heard much about Jevyon Ducker a RB from Bellevue West. Heard he was just out to visit Purdue and that he had an offer there. Also heard the Held was waiting to see how he did in track this spring. Any one know or hear what his 40 time is. He's 5-10 and 186 lbs. Here is his hudl film https://www.hudl.com/profile/7921930/Jevyon-Ducker and his twitter link https://twitter.com/search?q=Jevyon Ducker&src=typd
  21. Sorry about making the profile. I didn't know that and mods can certainly take it down. I understand! Though it would lead to a good discussion on him with more info from those that know about him!
  22. I love the fact that we have one commit already from Alabama and also couple of more guys already on the roster already in Lincoln. This gets us in the door and hopefully all the way home with this guy. He would be a huge get!
  23. You got to love the experience that Lutz would bring. Bring him on, please!
  24. Got a thread on this guy over on over at 247. Many are wondering if we're going to even look at him. Nice film on him, but not too sure on his 40 time. Held said he was waiting to see his track times were. He was to Friday Night lights last summer.
