If every science denying yahoo would have just worn a mask, correctly and the right type, stayed out of the bars and kept some sort of distance we'd be in a much better place now. That's the facts. It's not about living in fear. It's a virus. Ramrodding your wants through this situation isn't going to change the mechanics of a virus. Can you honestly say our society has been acting responsibly? We wouldn't have had to lock down more, just do the right thing and do it right.

First of all because you know two people who have recovered doesn't constitute scientific data. That's anecdotal, nothing more. Secondly you have no idea what the outcome of this virus will be when it appears a very effective vaccine is on the horizon. The disinformation of we just need to put our heads down and plow through may in fact lead to people dropping their guard when if they practiced caution for a few more months, tens of thousands of not hundreds of thousands of lives could be saved. Personally I'm scheduled for rotator cuff surgery in a couple of weeks. With the way things are going I'm having my doubts that I'll even get in. Where's that scenario in your analysis of the data?

I agree that they were keying on the give but I think it's more AM's unwillingness to run it more often then his inability. I gave him a pass last year because he looked less than 100% physically. The kid can run effectively enough so it's interesting to speculate why or how NW was able to know he wouldn't..at least early on. Who knows, maybe they ran some data, and started seeing some situational trends and they played the odds. Either that or there is some oline keys going on. But that would mean it's not a true read option.

I need to go back and watch again but live it seemed to me a huge problem is Martinez's read on the zone read. I recall early at least two plays where the d-end was diving down hard on Mills and AM had the entire field open but he gives to Mills. It was like NW had something tipped off in film study. Anyway stuffed for little or no gain. So if that is going on with something as easy to read as an RPO or zone read what's going on with more complex plays? Tough to tell live. I think the physical talent is there but the situational awareness is abysmal. You need a QB who knows how to be patient, let the yards come to him, and just move the chains when needed. Of course we may seen the last of AM but I'm really having my doubts about the QB whisperer right now as Luke can look hit and miss too

Drfish I just want say thanks for all you and your cohorts are doing. I don't know how you do it but your courage is incredibly inspiring. I had to speak at a meeting this weekend with 50 some people, inside, will minimal ventilation. Masks were "required" and of course the first two people I see were maskless and then another lady wanted to give my coworker a hug. I'm just praying this wasn't a local super speader. I know this is way off topic but again thanks. Some of us still believe in science and scientists.
