  1. Because reporting news, usually by posting verifiable video clips, is the same as posting Covid disinformation, lies about election integrity, and antisemitic/racist threats. One violated the company's terms and conditions. The other violated a nebulous moving target of a man child's feels. But nobody here is surprised right-wingers can't see the difference. Or maybe they can. They just loath journalists more than their dreams of a fascist utopia.
  2. Not for long. It'll be Truth Social soon at this rate. Talk about hilarious.
  3. Dude is going nuts tonight. Suspending all kinds of accounts.

  5. That ejection or rather the landing afterwards looked painful
  6. He's listed as a 4-star now on 247 and the 27th ranked OT in the country.
  7. Am I seeing any commonalities? I'm having a hard time putting my finger on it. Can somebody help?
  8. I'm voting for Desantis because he's going to hold all those scientists who spent their entire lives studying and working in fields none of us had the intelligence or patience to persevere in accountable for fidelity to the principals of science, not Christianity. Those wispy bearded, woke scientists rose to the top of their fields not because they wanted to help society but rather to scam the populace with a virus when it would have been so much easier and lucrative to be an insurance salesman. I mean our institutions should be in great shape when we send the message to those embarking on their chosen field of study that abiding by the principals of scientific rigor will be sniffed out for the woke scam it is and by God we'll make sure they face frivolous, political investigations. I just hope Rand Paul is his running mate.
  9. I think what is defined as "vaccinated" gets a little fuzzy since Omicron found it's way around the original vaccines. If someone isn't boosted especially with the latest bivalent vaccine, the first series of vaccines have waned are now less effective. This shows however that if a person is vaxxed and boosted with the bivalent shot they are 19 times less likely to die than the unvaxxed. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.verifythis.com/amp/article/news/verify/coronavirus-verify/vaccinated-people-not-more-likely-to-die-from-covid-fact-check/536-bba3d8a1-6531-4497-895f-8a2937d6e0c7 We all had hopes that original series of vaccines would have stopped Covid in it's tracks. Then Omicron came along from a completely different branch of the tree and that impacted the effectiveness of the original vaccines. At this point it's what we're dealing with and for me personally the risk of things like long Covid make staying on top of my vaccinations more important than the risk from the vaccines themselves. It's a decision of percentages. What's concerning now is China easing their mitigation steps combined with their crappy vaccines. Let's all hope some more virulent, more immune evasive variant doesn't come rolling out of there.
  10. Of those how many were boosted? The vaccinated group is also nearly 80% of the population. If the population was 100% vaccinated, then a 100% of the deaths would be from those that were vaccinated. Simple math. The point still stands though. Covid is still killing people. Enough to impact the excess deaths numbers. Being vaccinated and boosted greatly reduces your chances of death, hospitalization, and long Covid.
  11. Covid is still killing people especially the unvaxxed. January through March it was killing nearly 2000 Americans a day, out pacing cancer at that time It's gotten better but it's still killing around 400 a day. So even if we get it down to a minimal level, all other things being equal, our death rate will be higher than before it arrived on the scene because it's an add-on. https://www.statista.com/statistics/1254560/leading-causes-of-death-in-the-us-average-number-daily/
  12. Seems like he just sucks the oxygen out of the room. "All about me". I'm sure they'll have an uptick in recruiting and maybe it'll show on the field but after awhile his act will wear thin.
  13. Ahhh the old assault on science. That worked swimmingly for the Khmer Rouge. Sounds like solid public policy.
