So here's your alternatives to what we've been doing: 1. Win the title game (this is what you and everyone else who likes Bo or hates him prefers) 2. Not make it to the title game We can agree that #2 is bad right? So we've played for the conference title every year except this one...I'd say he has our program going in the right direction when the only alternative is to NOT play for conference championships. We didn't play for a conference title in 2011

I agree, I don't think the conference title is a must, but a divisional title is definitely needed with about a 10-2 record with fundamentally sound play throughout. I want BP to be successful, because I want Nebraska to be successful. I agree with Shatel that SE should have given his vote of confidence before the Iowa game. I don't know if they win the game, but the PC etc. would probably gone better. Strongly disagree with the bolded part. A conference title is the next step forward, anything less is what we've been getting the past 6 years.
