  1. I think in large part that's based on who Matt Rhule is. He comes across as a people person while SF seemed like he alienated people. Matt Rhule wants to be part of the community while SF didn't. Yes he was out there but it didn't seem like he was ever comfortable coming back here even if he wanted to take on that challenge. Kids started to lose faith in SF bc the team wasn't getting any better and with certain choices he put the team in. Just got to wait and see how Matt Rhule will do but he is a developer in college and has NFL experience to show to kids.
  2. https://www.google.com/amp/s/247sports.com/Article/Transfer-Portal-rankings-2023-247Sports-best-players-in-the-portal-initial-rankings-200595367/Amp/ Guess who is number one???? Can you say a former Husker. Definitely isn't going to get any love from us.
  3. It is but one has to wonder how successful our running backs are going to be with the o-line that we currently have.
  4. Does Southern Mississippi have a big stadium? From the picture it looks nice.
  5. Think he needs to add more muscle but hope Nebraska can add him. Think it really depends on if Fred Hoiberg has success or doesn't.
  6. Which I understand I just hope that bc he transferred to a powerhouse that he doesn't get buried on the roster with better players. You see that all the time especially at Alabama and other places. Yes they can bring in a whole lot of talent but kids want to play and not sit. Hope he made the right decision for himself.
  7. Any idea on who Nebraska would or is trying to consider for the position?? Haven't heard any names on trying to fill the qb coach position or the wr position other then Joe Dailey.
  8. Yeah still same conference. I wonder what led up to him transferring out and if he transferred there bc of lack of depth to play?
  9. I understand but I seen alot of comments saying he can't throw a ball or doesn't have a strong arm. From the film I watched going back to highschool he can throw yes, he is going to have to get the ball out faster and other things but those are things the coaches can work on. He really didn't play much for Arkansas. From watching him he reminds me of Justin Fields.
  10. I wonder why did Nebraska even bring him here for a visit if they really didn't want to considered him an option???
  11. He has a better throwing motion then Tmart ever did and that's even after Tmart worked with Steve Calhoun.
  12. So Ohio State has 2 committed qb's for this class now?? They got the number one qb in the nation why offer him as well?
  13. You forget he played offense as well or was that special teams Been so long I don't remember unless I go look it up lol

  15. Can I ask why the hire is against their culture?
  16. Well you missed my point I was talking about former huskers having success in general. Before Mickey got here he was one of the top wr coaches you could say in the nation.
  17. But just bc they were reaches for the previous staff doesn't mean that this staff can't or won't develop or bring out the best in those players that you mentioned. You got to have a wait and see approach to it bc you and I don't know how these coaches are. There track record does say they can develop so just got to find out that's all.
  18. Your saying bc your graduating class is small that's why he is getting overlooked or is underrated. Bc I would think once you see his tape like I watched he has speed and is tough and he should at the very least be a 3 star recruit.
  19. I do to but you got to remember Nebraska is playing in the big boy league so you should have some guys that can move and still be around 300ish pounds.
  20. I get it I really do but would you rather have Ives or Barnes who is ranked higher? Ives to me plays faster. Well in order to succeed for any rb he needs a line regardless.
