  1. Wow. Must have felt that he wasn't going to be starting next year. Good luck to him. Damn that sucks going to miss his profile picture on Huskers.com
  2. And this is why Trev Alberts hired Coach Rhule for that very reason. Bc CR throughout college he has proven to go out and get guys and develop them and doesn't care if it's against the norm. What's wrong with having a 6'3 running back? The question isn't if he can develop or not its can he have sustainable success here.
  3. Yeah me either. He is ranked higher then the rb that we just got a commitment from but I never though Barnes stood out.
  4. Didn't know where to post this but great Trev Alberts interview.
  5. I didn't disagree with you. I was just adding on to what you said. I was talking to others and the guy before you that do think he is a reach.
  6. You could say the same thing about Brice Turner. There are kids that fall through the football cracks and I believe he is one of them. Maybe coaches don't know where to put him so they didn't offer him or maybe the coaches are looking at so called bigger fish and not paying attention to him and his abilities. Maybe he didn't go to camps to show coaches what he could do and so that's why he isn't ranked higher I have no clue. All I know is we have a 6'3 running back on the team that teams will have to prepare for if he stays the course and develop's.
  7. So do I. Why would you even consider him a reach? Bc he has no stars or bc of his offer list? For me I don't look at those things I look at the player overall. Yes he is fast and big and will need time to develop on pass blocking and other things but the pedigree for CR success is there. There could have been many factors as to why he isn't ranked higher or not having alot of power 5 scholarships. As long as he stays the course and grows and doesn't get hurt he should be just fine at Nebraska and it's ok to go against the norm of having a 6'3 running back. Just got to have great pad level to get low so your knee's don't get taken out but also great to run over smaller defenders. It's a win win situation for Coach Rhule to have him.
  8. Mike Leach interviews will be missed. He had great humor with the things he said.
  9. Even though he just visited??? Seems pretty talented just needs the right coaching.
  10. Florida spent 85 million to upgrade their facilities. The video says 90 but off by 5 million.
  11. Haven't heard any word on how his visit went???? Wonder if his offer is based off of Casey Thompson situation.
  12. Don't believe we have any shot with him but it would be nice. Probably going to transfer to a dominant program.
  13. You would think alot of teams would gave jumped all over him once he decommitted to Nebraska. I wonder what teams he is still looking at???
  14. That's impressive to hear coming from a Florida guy. They recently upgraded their facilities as well and boy did they look stunning. Can't remember the exact price on how much money Florida spent to upgrade but definitely looked great.
  15. Such a sad day for his family and for college football. He will be missed
  16. It's been reported that he had a massive heart attack and his in critical condition rn. Thoughts and prayers to him and his family!!!!
  17. Was just asking sorry. Didn't know if they were bringing the commit on for more depth or he was taking over.
  18. Well that sucks for the rn bc he hasn't committed back yet but I feel we are going to gain his commitment back eventually. I was surprised he never committed to another school after he decommitted here.
  19. Did our long snapper this year graduate or did he transfer out? The long snapper that committed to us is he suppose to be the starter coming in to next season?
  20. I know we had Jeff Sims visit but do we go after any of those qb's on the list? One can only dream of having DJ UIAGALELEI.
  21. It has worked both ways for Nebraska. I would say that the majority of it working out is better then failure. SF, GA have failed, while John Garrison, Marvin Sanders, and Mickey Joseph are just some of the names that have had success here.
  22. I just asked about Joe Ganz. I do think he would work his tale off but it would be harder for him to show prove that he could do it that's all. I think he has the advantage of being a former qb at the University that's it nothing more.
