Okay so what does the coaching staff look like now? What positions do we have open to fill?

There is a difference between RPO where you are initiating the contact and know you are going to take a hit and standing in the pocket and getting blindsided and crunched by guys every play. That being said CT isn’t built for RPO is he?

I wouldn’t fault him for seeing what else is out there after the freakin circus he dealt with. He put out some good tape and is seeing if he can better his situation. Can’t blame him for that. that being said, if White wants him back he will be back. If White doesn’t then we will be juuuust fine.

What is the connection between White and Rhule? Have the worked together in the past. Rhule has said he only wants to work with guys he knows and trusts.

I mean it’s pretty impressive. They must have some legit RBs and who would have thunk it… a good OLine. Fun fact, I think I am going to this game. They are playing San Marin HS that is less than a mile from my house.

My biggest concern is that we want to accomplish some combination of 1) keep Casey Thompson next year 2) lure one of the top QBs from the portal/recruiting 3) bring top offensive weapons into the fold. Rhule/staff will need to have some sort of an impressive talk track around how our OLine will protect and/or open holes better than last year. I am VERY curious about how that story goes while avoiding the whole “hey we had one of the worst offensive lines in the country and retained only one coach from last year, our OLine coach” That being said, I am trying to be as positive as possible and trusting that Raiola is able to at the very least, OLine and all, win all of the winnable games next year (taking us to a bowl).

Love Robinson but not sure about him as DC. The biggest question I still have is who is going to be responsible with overhauling our OLine. Rhule said himself that his focus will be on winning in the trenches. What coach can we trust to accomplish that feat?
