Sigh....Washington is young but he frustrates me. Always trying to outrun guys. If he plants his foot on that first down play and moves up field, he gains 3 instead of one. Then that hold happens on first down instead of 3rd.

I learned...to my surprise. ...that Ohio state did NOT come out playing fired up and angry after a loss. That team looked off. We couldn't capitalize. Also interesting to watch frost start aggressive then switch to conservative.

I'm not sure but did it seem like the offense played slower the whole second half? Perhaps frost was trying to shorten the game for his defense but in doing so, neutralized his offense.

Sad. I know it's nice to see a competitive game but osu gives us 2 extra turnovers and commits more penalties and they still are up double digits. Long way to go still. Wish the offense could find consistency. Three points in the second half against a decent defense is unacceptable.

I always thought this was an odd reference, I mean basket weaving shouldn't be too bad but doing it underwater...do you have goggles? A breathing tank? Are you underwater or is just the basket underwater? This would make a difference.

I will add that the last two weekends of football have shown me that we're not as far off as I had been starting to fear. With purdue and northwestern looking good in big wins, we are in the middle of the pack and not on the bottom despite our record.

Hmmm...if I saw 3 straight weeks of the offense NOT self destructing regularly (which would have to be the case to beat OSU and I'll assume we play soundly against BC) then I would believe we have a good shot to win out. I'd have to see more from the remaining opponents though. One of them could get hot or a key injury...

Yeah these athletes are sure getting exploited playing a game, getting rockstar status, and a free "education." Sure they work hard but so does every other college student and they get no compensation. These kids get their school paid for. They get a lot of perks. And they're still just playing a game. Grad students get their research used by the universities. You don't always get compensated in life.

Actually the up tempo offense does help account give them extra possessions. But there's still plenty to work on with the defense. Minnesota is an average team like northwestern and purdue. Our defense is very average.
