I think that's probably what it will be dependant on. For there to be 5 BCS bowls plus the BCS NCG, there will either have to be more qualifiers or more auto-bids.

Probably one of the worst performances from Duke that I've seen all season and the Dirty Feet still couldn't capitalize. I told my buddy (Tar Heel fan) that I have seen better shooting from Jr High teams. UNC needs to stop relying on their shot blocking abilities and just play defense. When they take 2 or 3 guys to try to block somebody, that leaves the other team open to get offensive rebounds. You tell they are definitely hurting for some leadership though. They had a chance to win at the end, but they panicked, threw up some garbage shots and made sloppy passes/turnovers. They definitely have the talent/althetic ability to be good, but there is no consistency.

A conference that stretches over 3 time zones? That's pretty crazy. Some of these writers are getting carried away with these expansion/re-alignment ideas.

Best part about this is the way these two areas work together. If the DBs have awesome coverage, then the D-line has more time to get to the QB. If the D-line gets to the QB quickly and/or destroys blockers, then the DBs have easier coverage and better chances to make tackles, picks, and deflections. Thinking about next year keeps getting me amped up. Is it September yet?!

Someone mentioned that to Mr. Griffin on his live chat today. He said he got the numbers off of Phil Steele's website or something. Either way, doesn't seem like he verified it very thoroughly. Someone else in his chat today made the comment that 10 returning starters on a crappy offense doesn't make them better and that our offense will still suck. I don't think they knew that our QB was dinged up, both our RBs were dinged up at some point, and our whole O-line was off/on with injuries too.

I'm not saying he won't go pro. He could increase his draft stock if he redshirted a year and then was the primary kicker for a year handling FGs, PATs and kickoffs.

Seems like a waste of a career to just do kickoffs the entire time.
