Going with the assumption it's most likely a Higgs boson, there's no way to know at this point if it's THE Higgs boson or A Higgs boson. That will probably take a few years to pin down for certain. It's not clear whether the excess of gamma gamma decay paths can be considered a true deviation from the Standard Model or just a statistical aberration at this point. More data, analysis, and time are needed.

And just to be clear, a new particle has been discovered that is in many consistent with a Higgs boson. It isn't necessarily a Higgs, though (but the chances are good).
