  1. Taylor is the leader of this team. I am glad he defended the game plan. Like some said, they have moved on to Troy.
  2. You are absolutely right. I am just impressed that Troy was not intimidated by those programs. I believe NU will win. I'm not overlooking the possibility, reality, etc, that it will be a difficult game if the Huskers dont give it their best.
  3. I thought he looked a little heavy. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt since he did have the surgery and all, which if not 100% healthy can make anyone hesitant. He'll be alright.
  4. But how tough, this will be there third straight road game(correct me if I'm wrong) against good competition Good question, I dont have the answer. I just know they were in the game with FSU and G-Tech through three quarters, they pass the ball a lot, and our D-backs have to be ready. Troy's QB will put up stats, fortunately he will put up a few picks. I'll also toss in that they have been to Lincoln a few times already so they wont be in "awe". I'm wonder if the Huskers can get over their SC hangover and be ready for what's in front of them. I'd like to think so. GBR!!!
  5. Make no mistake about it, Troy will definately be tough. There is no guarentee, but I'm sure the Huskers will be ready for the challenge.
  6. That was some serious home cooking. I watched the game and couldnt believe those officials. They changed the outcome of the game. One game suspension is not good enough. They'll miss a paycheck, big deal. I guess it was worth it for them.
  7. it's weak. And a copout. Calling out his players? TCU has the nation's longest winning streak and beat T-Tech. There's always an excuse when a team loses, never an excuse when a team wins. They got beat good by a real good football team. (Sound familiar?) Leach needs to take the pill and swallow it. Man up. Admit it and move on.
  8. Taylor has talent and is accurate. Herbstreit even mentioned that. Taylor had the right to be frustrated, he wanted to show his talents, at least try. The passes called were screens and dump offs (majority). Callahan wants us to buy into the "he would have gotten killed" theory. I dont buy into that. What a copout. We wont know b/c the veritcal passing game was not called on. It's all a guess. We do have talent that didnt get the opportunity.. No Taylor, no Swift, no Nunn, no Herian, no Purify, etc. I feel bad for the guys that "dreamed" of this opportunity all year and all I saw was a three yard run and a cloud of smoke. My opinions, as I am entitled to them. But we gotta move on now. No more threads about this game guys. No matter what just happened, let's move on please and rally behind the Huskers. We will be alright.
  9. definately brutal. Felt bad for him.
  10. The road record is horrible. Maybe that's where the faith is shaken some?? Under Callahan - 15-11 11-4 Home record 3-7 Road record Road losses (and in order from latest): USC 10-28 Kansas 15-40 Missouri 24-31 Oklahoma L 3-30 Iowa State L 27-34 K State L 21-45 Tex Tech L 10-70 These are just facts, no smoke in mirrors. We just have to be hopefull that things will turnaround. Let's just rally behind the Huskers and take it game by game and eventually we'll see what happens. GBR!!!
  11. I hate to start a new thread/topic. Speaking to the mods, I just want to tell y'all what a wonderful job you guys do! Personally, I cant keep up with all of it. Just shows how great you guys are. So before I bounce for the day, props to all the mods for keeping this amazing Huskerboard in line!!! Much love for the mods!!!!!! Peace-OUT! A/Mode
  12. I thought it was huskerhater.org.
  13. It will be a tough game no doubt. Troy competes and plays hard.
  14. Thanks for sharing some of the article. It always make me feel a little bit better to hear something like that.
  15. I thought I heard he apologized "that the muslins feel that way about his comments." Don't think he apologized for making his comments. I for one, wouldnt want to be one to mess with the pope. He's got a great GM, CEO, president, "the big guy" in his corner.
  16. There were some opportunities out there. Some big plays could have been made. That fumble was tough. Good to count on Herian. Man it was good to see him make a play.
  17. Thanks for the article. There are so many interesting perspectives on this board I'll have to read what this guy says later. I know what I saw with my own eyes on the tele. last night. We'll be alright. Gotta go see who's voicing rants now...
  18. We were the underdogs. We were expected to lose this game. Winning would have been great, no doubt about it. Losing stings and hurts. It does for me. But we'll be alright. We'll be okay. Take 'em one at a time. Havent had much success on the road. Hopefully that will change.
  19. It's good enthusiasm. I sure hope we win the big 12. Just havent had much success winning on the road. But I have hope.
  20. Thanks Bigrediowan, I like the idea of this thread - keeping the faith. I will do that. I'm not happy with the game, but I will use the other threads for that. Will be positive on this one and ensure you all that I'm keeping the faith in the Huskers. Always will. GBR !!! *** I'm sure there's a Callahan thread out there? b/c I need to go vent on that topic. Stay positive here and keep the faith in the Huskers!!!!! GBR!!!!
  21. I like Herbstreit, Davie is okay, cant stand Musberger. And his old partners Gary Danielson and Jack Arute suck as well. Herbstreit - he's fair, he's cool.
