Welcome! Post away!! And GBR!!! I'm down in the DFW area like several of these amazing people! Colleyville-Grapevine represent!
  2. Ok, I'll be realistic. USC will be favored to win. They are suppose to win. It's a night game at home for them. More realistic stuff that is just a fun little fact: They will play Nebraska without the last two heisman trophy winners. Their QB has only started one game. Their RB's have only started one game. So I guess we can think what we want to think. But realistically, as of right now (2006), USC is no better than Nebraska. Make no bones about it... unless you gonna throw them bones up!
  3. It's sounds a lot like the Huskers when we went back to back. It's confidence and they deserve it. I dont take it in a bad way. We've had that same feeling. We've been down that road before. We're gonna be there again. The thing is, USC doesnt realize yet that what goes up, eventually will go down. They'll keep living off the past while we are living in the present. They're gonna get a wake up call. GBR for life!!!!!!
  4. Sounds good. We need all the depth we can out there. And some size too, especially when one of the starting corners is 5'5" (uh, I mean listed at 5'8).
  5. I noticed. I'm sure he is just testing it out - getting hit again. It's the first actual game since that devasting broken leg injury. He'll be okay.
  6. "Anyone know how we're gonna find another bearded lady, or should we just check in Kansas?"
  7. I love our home uni's. I never have liked the road "red pants" look. Wish they wore all white.
  8. Hey Eric, population wise, Oakland is not that large of a city. I just have trouble accepting that it is a small market when it is the 12th largest metro area in the states. According to Wickipedia, they have 4.1 million people. Wicki Wicki Sticki Yankees vs Dodgers - World Series 2006
  9. I agree. I think that catch did jump start the passing game. Isnt he listed in the same X-Y-Z spot as Swift? (Second on depth behind him?). I think he is, and could be wrong. It's hard to get Swift out of there for obvious reasons. Need to get his position switched if it's the case.
  10. USC is pretty darn tough last I checked. I can see them all getting "some" snaps, just not as evenly distributed. The situation will be different - on the road, national TV, a night game, etc. It's good to have four guys like this, because someone will have "jitters", and someone else will step up. They ALL want that chance to prove something. They aint just running through the motions. But heck, SoCal will probably try to stop the run, and Taylor will go to the air and we have some monsters out there too.
  11. Kenny Wilson's sweet touchdown run that was called back. Little bit let down because of that.
  12. Thanks for sharing. Those are great! pictures.
  13. I'm wondering, there's gotta be a heartattack clause somewhere in there. Or else a pre-game 20 hot dog limit.
  14. I predict at some point Beano Cook will once again refer to the 1949 Michigan State NOH TRA DAME game. Or whenver that ancient game was. I predict Lee Corso is not so fast my friend. I predict on Thursday nights, college football is the best show on TV. I predict I will need a Huskerboard hug if/when the Big Red lose.
  15. Maybe they will rethink it after a few drive killing picks. Man, you see the sun rise day after day, you tend to count on it.
  16. Agreed. Bo was the best. But "Dicker" was almost as good. Anyone remember him? It was as if they couldnt fit "Dickerson" on the screen or something. God Bless Dicker!
  17. Me too brotha!!! And I might add that I am confident in each one of them, and that' so cool! GBR!!!
  18. You dont have to feel bad about saying that bro. It's not "popular" to say that, but hey it is a reality. We really dont know what to expect. I'm excited about our potential and the talent on the team. But Callahan is 13-10 in two years and that is always in the back of my mind. And I may be alone in that. Gotta see how this season unfolds one game at a time. Still, it's a fun poll.
  19. My guess is that, if no separation between the four, they will "start" BJackson. My reasoning is he is a junior, and has experience in the system. They may even run the backs in and out each play, as oppose to series, to see who will get going first. I would rather they start Lucky, use Glenn a lot next, then Wilson. So many talented backs, one football. Possibility of someone transfering by the end of the year is definately there, unfortunately. Regardless, someone will earn the job as the season progresses. Have a hunch it might be Wilson. Damn. Is it kickoff yet???? GBR!!!
  20. I wish him the best - where ever he goes! He definately has talent, he gave us a try, and he is a good guy. Just too many backs and only one ball to go around.
