We have a stagnant offense, have turned the ball over 7 times in the last 2 games, has terrible special teams and can’t stop the run. If we don’t snap out of it(I expect it this week, but I expected earlier than this) soon we would be in trouble. The team that has taken the field the last few weeks would get beat by Iowa by 2-3 scores. I firmly believe things will change but I don’t see a point in assuming it until it happens. I still believe this team can win 9 games not including the bowl. But it’s time to make it happen.

It would really hurt. But we still have very winnable games against Purdue, Indiana, Maryland and Minnesota. I am Hoping we see improvement as the year goes on where Iowa is winnable.

Our offense takes a talented efficient QB. That has been absent this year. Hopefully the coaches can get his head cleared soon.

I didn’t see a team that was quitting. I see a team that is pressing. They looked like a team wanted to win so bad that they didn’t play loose. They look like what they were a young inexperienced overmatched team. We’re not as bad as we looked on Saturday night.That being said if we would have played loose I think Ohio State still comfortably covers the spread.

Pulling the plug on a kid that was getting preseason Heisman talk seems more extreme. Just to make sure I’m clear I’m not saying that we go back to the old Nebraska offense I’m saying that we run that more and flat out run the ball more and give Adrian more passing Friendly situations until he gets his head straight

I agree. But I also think that it’s important for frost to look at our quarterback situation for what it is. The way he wants to run his offense it’s not going to be effective unless he has a very good to elite quarterback. What we have right now unfortunately is a kid that I feel like can be that quarterback, but for whatever reason he’s not there right now. This offense will never take off with AM as is. The TO offense is better for us right now for our QB And for our D. Right now I don’t know if we have a choice. I think that O can nurse AM and this D to 6-8 wins. I think if AM snaps out of his funk the current offense can get those wins too but if he doesn’t wake up he could find the bench and we could miss another bowl. long term the current offense with a mix of the old is clearly the best answer.

Until/if Martinez returns to being elite again we have to do this. I honestly feel like him running the ball more would be beneficial. I feel like it would get him into the feel of the game and reacting more and thinking less.

In fairness it sounds like our guys have been putting in the work. Who knows how he would act if they weren’t. I’m sure it’d Be better than leech

Yes and no. He deflects certain direct questions but will still reference it frequently. And there are ways to answer those questions without saying too much.

I’m still all in on frost. I still believe he was clearly the best choice when we fired Riley. That being said he’s got to stop talking. He’s made a lot of arrogant proclamations look pretty stupid right now. Things like “you better get us in year one” And “I wouldn’t trade our guy for anybody in the country”. He is c$%ky and brash which I think is good and he needs to be that way. But he needs to keep his comments to himself and his team behind closed doors. Stop talking about how things went at UCF or at Oregon. That got you the job here but that doesn’t make a bit of difference beyond that. Please stop talking about the strength and conditioning. I don’t want to hear anymore about it until I see it on the field. We’re still getting bullied up front like we are a JV squad. I still believe in husker power and I still believe in our nutrition program and our strength program, I just don’t wanna hear about it ever again. I want to see it on the field. Husker fans are smart. At which point we start becoming the Bullies again we’ll figure it out. We’ll connect the dots...you don’t need to tell us.

There is nothing wrong with Wisconsin. I do question if the best option for us isn’t copying them. I think we could be a better recruiting version of them. But I think we have to give Scott a good 5-7 years. But what I saw was tonight was very disturbing. For me that might have been the most deflating game I have seen as a Nebraska fan.

Yes 50. If OSU doesn’t let off the throttle that’s what we are looking at. As for the ceiling comment...perhaps your definition of that is different from mine. To me that means you won’t reach it unless everything goes near perfectly and you will likely be worse to much worse.... you are ok with that?
