I'm not seeing anything that at abnormal for an 18 year old....

I would look at Texas this year. They had the hot young coach from the year before. They also have way more talent and an easier conference.

My hope is to catch Iowa in a year 1 or 2. Wisconsin in 3-4. Ohio state in 5-6. It took a while to fall this far down. Its probably going to take some time to get back. Plus we have a young coach. He's probably going to need to time to learn. None of this takes into account theother programs improving. I could see osu getting back to elite and wiscy knocking on the door in that time frame. This is a tough conference.

Anyone that doesnt say Meyer is crazy. You take the proven choice. If people are being honest.....i can't see Frost's absolute ceiling being much higher than what Meyer is.

You can do this while being honest. If the kid is the best qb then start him. If not than he can be a back up or if he wants to see the field more he can switch positions. Add depth at one position or fill a need at another. Win-win

I think it's smart to offer guys like this at the position they want. I am reminded of the LB we lost to Oklahoma because he wanted to play RB. They offered as rb and he never played anything but LB for them. Was a callahan recruit iifc. He was a stud for them.

I get what you are saying but records can be deceiving. By year 3-4 i want to compete in every game. I want to have a realistic chance of winning with 5 minutes left in the 4th of every game. It's been a while since we could say that. That being said if we in every game but only winning half of them that's not good.

I expect this to go like Penn state......probably a little slower.

It might not be that easy for him. I struggled being underweight most of my college career.
